Around the 17 minute mark, i sort of began to look away from my screen and just listen to the commentary Decker gives. But at 17:43 - seeing that one iconic shot of Godzilla - even in my peripheral vision - was recognizable enough make me turn back.
I've found the cutting away from the kills a smidge early makes them WAY more effective. They're less Gorey, but then fear and disgust are two different emotions.
1:03 Special guest appearance from Tommy Chong. (Yes, I know Decker mentioned this but I like to comment before watching the entire video). 7:21 It seems like the girl passing the joint actually heard Decker's advice. When the shot changes the joint in her hand has turned around 180 degrees. 21:28 This is a VERY important moment in the series; since it is the first time we are explicitly shown that Jason has superhuman resilience. 22:51 How can this girl be having a dream/hallucination about Pamela? She never met Pamela and presumably knows nothing about her.
For those of you who don't know this that Debbie chick played by Tracie Savage would go on to testify in OJ Simpson murder trial and it was way more scarier than any Jason movie. An example of art imitating life
@@adamquiles2468 So she wasn't involved in the crime personally, just professionally and as a witness? Is that correct? Was she a witness because she viewed the Live chase, while working?
Friday the 13th Part 3 may not be as good of a sequel as part 2 is, but it's still a great entry in the franchise. Not only did Jason put on his iconic hockey mask for the first time, but this movie also has one hell of a killer soundtrack. Decker may not like this movie so much, but I personally love part 3.
Actually I am pretty sure that black dude was not hacked by a clever but hit by some club for some fucking reason but that makes sense why the black guy is alive and doesn't have any cuts but a blood stain
So Jason only began wearing his famous hockey mask in a cash grab movie that was relying on the hook of shitty ‘80s 3D effects to turn a profit. That’s like Jaws: The Revenge accidentally introducing the world to the iconic Jaws music.
Is it just me, or is Edna horribly miscast? I mean she's supposed to be an older frumpy housewife, but they obviously cast a very young looking, and attractive girl.
@Nathaniel York each sequel is like a reimagining of the character. You make a valid point on how they compare between those two. He torments the last victim when he demasks.
The scene where Edna is watching the news and the television news anchor is talking about the murders that happened in part 2, well that news anchor is being played by the director, Steve Miner, in a cameo appearance.
Where was this channel my whole life? I'm literally laughing out loud (maybe because I'm as high as the stoner couple) but man, I couldn't have clicked the subscribe button any quicker.
Thanks for the upload! I enjoyed your review! Part 3 may have it's problems, especially the 3D shots and inconsistent storyline, but I still enjoyed it. I take this movie for what it is: a low-budget slasher movie. I also liked the Shelly character. Compared to the others, his character seemed more developed and much more memorable. Plus he indirectly gave Jason his iconic hockey mask look. No more Jack Black or sack head killer wandering around lol! As for the other characters, they are pretty much a copy and paste from previous slasher movies, but that's to be expected from a movie like this. Anyways, your videos are awesome and funny. I look forward to your future reviews!
Correction Decker. Jason didn't attack Ali with a cleaver in their first encounter, he attacked him with a club (a broken table leg or something, which Jason grabbed to fend off Ali's machete). That's why Ali was able to survive his first fight with Jason (Hollywood logic, getting beaten in the head repeatedly with a club only knocks you out instead of killing you). Also, I always interpreted the fact that Jason wouldn't leave the barn for the first half of the movie as he had lost his mask so he didn't want to leave the sanctuary of the barn. Then once he had killed Shelly and stolen his hockey mask, he now had something new to hide his face with and thus had the confidence to leave the barn. At least that's the way I see it. I liked Part 3 a little better than you did Decker. Probably mostly because of Shelly, and maybe Debbie (you can't help but feel bad for her knowing that she's pregnant when Jason kills her). I think I would rate it 3 Stabbings Through The Bed out of 5.
I always thought he was hiding in the barn to heal a bit from the machete he took in part 2 because after stealing clothes and killing Edna and Harold he went hid at unoccupied Higgins Haven.
@@travzimmerman1340 Well there's that too. But I was referring specifically as to why he spent the first half of the movie waiting for people to enter the barn in order to kill them, and then walking out into the open to kill whoever he comes across. His reason for being at Higgins Haven was to recover from the machete attack from the previous movie. But his reason for only killing people who came into the barn during the first half of the movie is he needed a new mask.
14:41 i'm with Decker on this one. I can easily handle a simple open rejection rather than be strung along by someone who doesn't want to hurt my feelings. Just give me a simple no thank you and I will move on with ease

10 / 1 / 2017
6:25pm nys USA
1:03 Special guest appearance from Tommy Chong. (Yes, I know Decker mentioned this but I like to comment before watching the entire video).
7:21 It seems like the girl passing the joint actually heard Decker's advice. When the shot changes the joint in her hand has turned around 180 degrees.
21:28 This is a VERY important moment in the series; since it is the first time we are explicitly shown that Jason has superhuman resilience.
22:51 How can this girl be having a dream/hallucination about Pamela? She never met Pamela and presumably knows nothing about her.
One of the best to me in the franchise.
The most amazing thing about this is that as smart as Decker is he doesn't know eating weed in its flower state doesn't get you high.😅
For those of you who don't know this that Debbie chick played by Tracie Savage would go on to testify in OJ Simpson murder trial and it was way more scarier than any Jason movie. An example of art imitating life
Wait, what? I remember hearing she became a news caster but what brought her to the O.J. trial?
@@steveharvey2102for exposure like every news person goes for
@@adamquiles2468 So she wasn't involved in the crime personally, just professionally and as a witness? Is that correct? Was she a witness because she viewed the Live chase, while working?
@@Pocketrocket-pj1us watch her testimony from that trial it's right here on RUclips
I've been binge watching your videos and this may be my favorite :D. The 3d gag commentary was paced and executed well.
Are you kiddin me part 3 deserved a 3 out of 5 it has some of the most iconic scenes in the series in it like the Barn scene and more.
Happy Halloween Decker!
I love this season of decker. It’s peak Decker. Doesn’t get much better than this
So you're saying everything he made afterwards is garbage? It all went downhill from here? What a thing to insinuate. You should be ashamed.
Hmm would say that this peak has never ended since this season. It has just kept being on the best level ever since
Jason bout to join FaZe with that first kill
How?he stabbed him
lol I'm doing a Friday the 13th marathon and after every movie I watch your review on it. lol you're hilarious, subbed.
19:58 How does Jason poke through his head without any hands? Both of his hands are grabbing his head.
Ben Sweetser his thumbs
Haha the off screen face poking made me LOL
dude you're hilarious with the throwing stuff lol you're killing the 3D
And plus the actor who played Jason here is taller and the skinnier than the previous Jason actor
I'm pretty sure some suggestions for movie endings had Ali live another one had no one winning wish they went with Ali living
those 3D jokes made me cry, great review decker!
17:44 the word 'homage' is pronounced 'Oh-mahj', not 'hum-maj'
Go fart yourself away.
I loved the theme song here, I can still see people dancing to it at Halloween parties
Actually, Decker, I believe Ali was bludgeoned by a blunt object, like a bottle, not hacked to death by a cleaver, other than that, good review.
This is the funniest review of any movie I've yet to see on youtube.. the 3-D criticizing is fuckin hilarious
'Character development' ? in a slasher film....
Actually I am pretty sure that black dude was not hacked by a clever but hit by some club for some fucking reason but that makes sense why the black guy is alive and doesn't have any cuts but a blood stain
Gamer wizard8 yeah it was with a wrench
You're brilliant, Decker 🙌
So Jason only began wearing his famous hockey mask in a cash grab movie that was relying on the hook of shitty ‘80s 3D effects to turn a profit. That’s like Jaws: The Revenge accidentally introducing the world to the iconic Jaws music.
Is it just me, or is Edna horribly miscast? I mean she's supposed to be an older frumpy housewife, but they obviously cast a very young looking, and attractive girl.
I thought that was weird too.
She got some killer legs!!! 😍😍😍
5:50 LMAO! that line was perfect XD
17:08 -
I'd watch that
Jason finds a minigun
2020 anyone?
there's only a few days left in October have a happy Halloween 🎃 y'all!
What's your favorite scary movie?
This Jason seems much less threatening than the Jason in part IV.
@Nathaniel York each sequel is like a reimagining of the character.
You make a valid point on how they compare between those two. He torments the last victim when he demasks.
The 3D song at the start is called King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard - Cellophane
RIP Richard Brooker 😔
The scene where Edna is watching the news and the television news anchor is talking about the murders that happened in part 2, well that news anchor is being played by the director, Steve Miner, in a cameo appearance.
godzilla has a cameo? awesome

i know Jason gained about 50lbs in muscle mass overnight, but HOW is he supporting his entire body weight with just one arm??
I'm laughing that you do bother to mention the names of obscure actors playing minor characters! 😂😂😂
Where was this channel my whole life? I'm literally laughing out loud (maybe because I'm as high as the stoner couple) but man, I couldn't have clicked the subscribe button any quicker.
one scene left out
Chris's butt hitting Jason in the face
fun fact
100% real
Dana Kimmel really slipped and hit him
You're full of shit.

“So which one is my comment 1000?” Looks around…..
