South Africa was incorporated into BRICS for a reason. They hold 80% of the world’s platinum yearly export
Definitely shoulda added that to the video!
Great point! 👍
Only 3 places platinum is found in amounts that are worth digging for. Virginia to Vermonts Appalachian mountains, the Russian Ural Mountains, and South Africa’s gold range.
The fact that it is the same price as pre covid levels is crazy. ... Pt Pd Bull! 💯
Platinum’s potential is phenomenal.
The Anti-CBDC bill has passed the house today and now it’s moving on to the senate it’s a definitely a big win for silver stackers
The auto industry needs either platinum or palladium and with the restrictions on buying from Russia platinum could very well see it's day again.
I totally agree with your reasoning. Gold price surged because central banks are stocking it followed by Chinese retail investors thanks to governmental recommendations. As gold has became a little expensive, the Chinese government promoted silver to the public. Silver is on the up along with other reasons. What most people in the west do not know is that for a long time, women in the east (esp. Japan and China, Taiwan, etc.) preferred platinum to gold as jewellery as it is less ostentatious. So, it won't need much persuasion for the Asian public to buy platinum as an investment. By the way, I live in Australia and my neighbour is a jewellery designer and I was told almost no one wants platinum jewellery here. In contrast, there has always been a familiarity with platinum jewellery in the east so I see a very bright future in renewed retail interest in the unfairly neglected metal. The Chinese government will 100% promote platinum to the public in the near future. Can't say the same for paladium.
My thought process exactly. When the east turns back to their platinum, we’ll follow right in suit. I ordered 10 grams yesterday, shipping from a Barclays in north UK all the way to me in the US. Tells me that supply came from Russia.
@@shanejones578 You must be so excited to see the actual coin/bar(?) itself. I’m surprised they still allow Russia platinum given all the sanctions. Nonetheless, just wait for the rest of the world to wake up👌😆☺️😀
I'm definitely bullish on Platinum 👍 👍 👍
That is precisely why Gold moves first. Silver moves second. And Platinum moves just before Silver does in the big move investment purchases .... Historically.
You make good points Beast! 🍻🐟
For the youtube algorithm 😎✌️ #DCAandCHILL
Platinum beast do you buy platinum bars
I'm cheering platinum on but it's definitely cheering on the underdog. It's in third place well behind gold and silver and over time the gap is getting bigger. I'd like to see it perform but it could well be a bad bet. Time will tell.
Chances are, it will be painful for the next 5-10 years. But down the line, it will be worth it.
@@shanejones578 I hope you're right mate. 👍
Good job
The only Platinum mine in the country is owned by a South African company…
Can't have hydrogen fuel cells without platinum. EV not ready for prime time.
