I loved your video very much.
My Avita Laptop's Keyboard FFC Cable connecting to motherboard has same cable problem. The FFC cable pin-edge has "carbon black". One of the string pin no. 3 is scratched so carbon plating removed, but other pins have carbon plating, so its very difficult to power on.
Will this method work here? Plese suggest something .

It is not easy to remove new blade. Moreover finishing is not good. It depends on skin of cable if it is soft it easily removed but some cases bit is hard to remove.
