Nice review! I just bought one at Sportsman's warehouse and am looking forward to playing around with it tomorrow while walking downtown. It's totally cool with having as many features as it has and I especially like that it has a great backlight and that it has a clock that I would guess is coming from a nuclear clock via satellites, thus providing super-accurate time. My reason mainly is to use it while prospecting with a metal detector. With it's tracking feature is should be great fun!
@jordancoles kinda A typical cache is a small waterproof container containing a logbook where the geocacher enters the date they found it and signs it with their established code name. Larger containers such as plastic storage containersor ammo boxes can also contain items for trading,. Geocaching is often described as a "game of high-tech hide and seek,"

The only one critisum about this vid is that you had the mic to close to you and you can here your self sollowing which made me cringe a little and anoying. I know its difficult to get close up shots so please don't be offeneded when I say this just giving you tips just in case you hadn't noticed.
ROTFL ist is really easy and never lost signal, make sure you get the H high sensitivity unit as it works better BUT it NEVER acquires a signal during this whole video
I've got one of these - and one thing that irks me is that when you're viewing a track (ie where you've been that day), you can zoom in and out, but you can't pan around it. So, you can effectively only see detail on the section you're currently in, or zoom out so that everything becomes a big jumbled mess (especially if you have way-points). Anyone have a solution to that?
I'm old Skool so still prefer to carry and work from paper,but what interests me is the back track feature,how good is it ,ie is it good enough to get me out of the poo if I got caught in fog or whited out by snow ?

Is geocaching sort of like letterboxing? I'm considering buying one of these do to letterboxing on Dartmoor.

Besides de menu is there another big diference between Garmin Etrex H and the Garmin Etrex 10?

It would definitely better than nothing, but you'd have to keep your wits about you as there are no map details on the screen.
