The Hudson Brothers on the Dinah Shore show 1978

The Hudson Brothers were famous for about 15 minutes (the collection of tapes this came from had a lot of their TV appearances) but nobody remembers them today. One of them is Kate Hudson's dad, but probably nobody even remembers her now. Tape ran out during the music performance, like most tapes in this collection there are lots of edits. Don't know why the contrast came out so crappy.

O.M.G! The Hudson Brothers were A Thing, back in the day! Sure, the song was kinda cheesey, but the arrangement is of its time. I forgot how truly talented they are. It shows the commitment to craft in their routines. Nice to see Alan and Dinah! And...those bell bottom Disco suits will live in Infamy! Thanks for posting!

They were talented, with some great tunes. So You Are a Star is a 70s minor classic. Could've gone farther if they focused less on comedy, particularly that kid's show.
