  • Here's my latest haul from today's Train Show. (and my goof with the description, I didn't buy a ballast car, it's a gondola meant for ballast service.)

    I went to the show as well, picked up a Conrail caboose from the first run Rapido did. they asked 100 I paid 80

    As for both the Woodstock and Kitchener ones, do you end up paying admission at 5$?

      Admission is reasonable at those shows... $5 is the right price. They make more money by offering more shows at $5 admission than fewer shows with a $10 admission. I went to the Woodstock a couple of times and spent too much $$ each time, lol. Show organizers can keep everyone happy by keeping prices down or they run the risk of pricing themselves out of the market... it happened to the Toronto Train show at the International Centre, GONE.... and it happened at the Brampton Train Show, GONE. The same holds true of the model train business; pay attention to what you're charging customers or they'll start to look elsewhere (I only buy from train shows now)
