It makes me happy that he keeps with what he wants to do and stays open to how he feels instead of focusing fully on only making content that will get views. It's good that he's got a healthy relationship with youtube and making videos and I'm gonna continue to watch no matter what he makes whether if it's a random videogame or watching paint dry because he's got such an amazing sense of humor and he genuinely loves what he does. The fact that he can litterally do a stream of watching paint dry, get 10,000 people there, and have it be a genuinely entertaining stream (I was there for the entire thing, from the moment the watching paint dry stream notification showed up until it ended), shows that, really, as long as he stays to who he is, we will watch literally whatever he puts up

2:10 as an escapism man myself i do have to say there's a risk in doing relaxing things too much when stressed. Where it get's to the point where you start avoiding your stress and more importantly responsibility cause you don't want to think about it. I still think RT makes a good point and giving a source of stress too much attention also can just make it worse, but i think a good balance is the most important. ^^

Been prepping for SATs, studying for 4 tests, and generally working through 11th grade purely online. Which has been the end of my existence thus far. This Play-through and specifically the first part of this Q&A is kinda keeping me smiling.

I am fully aware that I am writing this comment three years after the video was first posted, and that maybe RT has posted the 82,000 word science fiction project he wrote somewhere online, and that perhaps he has even written more in the years since then. I am making this comment to say that I would so love to read it if RT has decided to make it available to the public in any capacity; I'm also making it to show how incredibly excited I am just to hear that it is something that exists. RT your channel has been an absolute boon to me during days of fighting off depression and the urge to bandaid it using alcohol. You have genuinely made a difference and have inspired me in my own pursuit of literature and creative writing. Literally the only reason I am watching this video right now is because I decided to watch your Variety Content playlist end to end over the summer, and when I heard you talk about your writing project I had to stop and write this. I know you have done so many more things to be proud of in the years since you posted this, but for whatever reason I chose this moment in this video to stop and say how incredibly much you have meant to me in my life. I'm hoping I can catch you on stream soon and tell you in a way you're more likely to see, but for now this is what I've got.

I think i may speak of experience here, comment made me think about stuff in my life and well seeing rt reply, i thought i may share stuff that your content help me with, may be a long one, so buckle your horses
I think one of the biggest difficultys for me in the past was study work, i was a few years ago that top grade kid who didn't socialize as much, if at all really, i had it in my head that i had to succeed in these part of life in order to get a job and have a "life" in the future, have control over it, and i mean i had good grades, but i didn't feel like they were enough, that it was enough to secure me a future, and it was stressful, i didn't have as much of a focus with friends cause of it, and it fed a endless orobros loop of sorts
I don't socialize cause of work, which made me lose contact with friends, in turn meant i didn't have much people to go through, which fed again the work need
This kept happening untill i got worse grade, at first I worried even more, and felt terrible over not good grades, and a need to fix it, their were friends around who helped me get back into socializing, and i started focusing more and more time with friends, i eventually just decided not to focus on school work really, if ever
Now is that a good mentality to have? That can be argued, much like anything, i can see how that isn't a good mentality, cause you don't focus on the actual important thing that need to be done, it a flaw, everything is, i see it though that any mindset can be good so long as it enforces a positive belief and action in life
Like for example, the Nothing matters belief
A negetive way you can take that is that nothing matter so why should I try, that isn't a healthy mindset, and enforces inaction and stagnation, this wouldn't be a mindset you'd want from it, but a positive way you can spin that is that Nothing matters, so i will make the most of it, cause if nothing matters, then i will do what i want because it won't matter at end beside my joy from it, anything can be spinner positive and negetive, it a blurry thing to distinguish, and people may not realises it, but these blurry lines are how life is, it not clear what will, or can happen, but we are in for the ride and may do what we think will make life good and things more clear
