Bought my AirTag March 2023 and just got a notification my battery was almost dead. Easy to change but, I had a hard time getting the case bag together. Ok it took 5 minutes.

If they have an iPhone, it will alert them that there is an AirTag nearby.
It’ll also alert anyone’s android phone since this is now included in the latest android operating system update.

What? If your AirTag is in your car but your phone is out of range of that AirTag, it will notify anyone’s iPhone (or Android phone) that is in that car that it’s there.

Duracell 2032 doesn’t work in AirTags that’s the only brand so far i know that doesn’t work.

This isn’t true anymore since Duracell updated their design. The new design now has a “Compatible with Apple AirTag” branding on the packaging. I think they also moved the bitterant coating from the negative side of the battery (which was what was causing the issue) to the positive, since that’s what I’m seeing on the Duracell batteries that came with my AirTags.
Apple has removed that feature on your battery life level.
It’ll still send an alert and show a low battery level once the battery is actually low.
My experience has been batteries died without notice.

One tip:
Do not touch both sides of this battery they hold a small charge so if you touch both + and - there is a chance your battery will discharge and will be empty.

@@mikewolf5367 Well, she needs feedback. The title says it is how to replace a battery and she goes on babbling about why she likes them and what she uses them for. She doesn't even start talking about how to replace the battery until over 3 minutes into the video!!!!!

airtag battery life is usually up to one year
Depending on usage and environmental factors, it can last between a year and three. Heck, someone did some technical math with the power draw with the AirTag in sleep mode and came up with 11 years.
She says it right at 1:44 "a little over one year"
