Most teams were not hurt like NE and Buffalo. Obviously Buffalo was a more talented team with a much better QB but NE getting their players back will be a big help. Also not many teams are going to win without their top pass rusher, 4 of their top 5 corners and a lot of their offensive line hurt@@trentbateman
@@deer626 well we lost jack jones regardless this year as BB cut him. The OL has to be healthier yes and judon/gonzalez back will have a big impact. But they’ve really not done much to improve this roster. Ton of money left and no one to spend it on, unless you want to trade picks, but we need to grow through the draft too. Year 1 of 3 year rebuild
I dont think it's necessarily being cheap, but I see all of this talent available with us having a lot of available cap and many needs...we can fill those needs in FA if we were willing to spend more and be more aggressive. I understand the vision and support it, but I understand the other side of that coin as well. We want wins immediately and can have them if we spend, that's why I think people are saying we're being cheap.
Great show guys!! I just want to say, hats off to the real, supporting patriots fans, because the childish, negative BS that's coming out of so-called patriots fans about how things are going so far is disgusting. You're crying about signing your own valuable guys is insane. Crazy thing is ,if they did a Belichick and let them walk, you'd be angry about that. Be realistic, stop being so damn negative . Also, with this Ridley show, if he's not going to sign, move on because this is slowing any chances of moving on and grabbing someone else like a Marquis Brown and or a Curtis Samuel, Jonah Williams, etc.😤
So pats resigned some decent internal players and added nothing. A backup LT / RT, and a 3rd down back. Is that “weaponizing” the offense? Can we at least get a Jonah Williams at Tackle? Some big name?
Yea they still have like 35m to spend this year and like 180m next year. Need quality starters who will be there for a few years like Willie Gay, but not doing that. Signing Tyron Smith is pointless as he’s at the end of the career and makes sense for KC for instance
Some people think this is madden lol so unrealistic, like the coaches and the actual football people know In a rebuild which this is you don't just go spend like Miami did and give all your money and picks away and they still didnt win the superbowl or even the division lol you resign your guys don't over pay for FA scrubs like Bill did, and rebuild through the draft with a few decent key pick ups in a not so good FA market.
Anyone else remember when 20mil a year was the highest paid QB? Cuz I remember the highest paid players making a lot less than 1/2 of that 😂! If you don't, then all you remember is TB12 and the Patriots winning SBs, and ya might have never seen how an offense is built from the ground up. It looks a lot like this 😅
He doesn’t cost half of what Barkley did tho 🤷♂️ and he’ll be a great hot route guy for a rookie qb who’s under pressure . I personally wanted Aaron jones so I get it, but still a solid pick up for the team and it shows we’re headed in the right direction
Trade second or third for Fields, draft MHJ. If we can trade for Higgins too all the better. Imagine Higgins, MHJ, Bourne, Douglas, Rheagor, Thornton.. that's a tough group with super athletic Fields that can also take off and a solid RB game.
The Patriots are doing exactly what a rebuilding team should do, anyone who is squealing otherwise is just a pouty pink hat Pats fan who can't handle going through a down time like every other fan base has seen or is seeing. Or, they just don't know anything about football.
Since Washington signed Mariota the Pats should look at trading for Sam Howell. They can still take a QB in the draft but why not through as many darts at the position that you can. He still has three years of a rookie contract. I think it’s kind of a no brainer
@@eriks.uperpatriot5817 Lol. Nowhere near. They'd have to trade up, and the 1.03 is worth 3 first round pics per the 9ers doing it in 2021. For the 1.03, the Vikes would have to give us JJ and more...
Getting all their injured players back will make them a much better team, considering that half their team was injured last year
Buffalo was top4 with all their guys on D hurt. I don’t know as it’s a war of attrition for everyone

What is happening with Boutte?
He’s still on the roster. We haven’t release him yet. But he is facing felony charges for betting under the age of 21 though.
He's placing bets on the Draft 😂
I’m rooting for him to be a surprise this year.
it's anyone's bet 😮
He’s down the track

Bring Zeke back.
Good work ethic.

Ah, the Mystery Team. When did Scott Boras start doing football?
As for Uche, glad to see that one of Bill's legion of mistakes actually worked out for once.
I agree 👍
I like Gibson
He’s decent but I think just from a wow factor standpoint I wish they were in on Barkley

They need to sign Joey bosa and Mike Williams
Loved the colonoscopy comment Greg!!!!
I’m not upset about Jacoby because I realize he’s just a placeholder for the QB they’re drafting at #3 this coming April draft.
Show us on the doll where Bill Belichick hurt you
Patriots sign tight end Austin Hooper to a one year contract.
the offseason grade is an A so far just for getting rid of Parker
Tagging Henry??
At 18M….😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

The New England Browns
The Green England Bay Browns
a bunch of mediocre moves. does this improve a team with 4 wins?

Throw
Don’t think this is a bad idea, I’m a fan of throwing darts at talented qbs before the season instead of scraps during the season lmfao
I think Howell is better than jacoby fr
The paint dry
I feel like Bedard is a little stuck in the Bill Belichick era.
When you're that old you can't change it is what it is I don't blame him. It happens to mostly everyone.
Maybe Ridley has observed how his teammate Mac Jones was handled and has been scared away???
Really think it’s the weather
How much does the Kraft family pay you to dump on Bill?
Belichick exposed
4-13
Yes it's Bill's fault that they are CURRENTLY not spending shit on premium talent.
F+
Kraft is CHEAP!!! This team sucks
I’d trade for Justin Jefferson
What do you think the best WR in the league would cost the Patriots? Their #3 & #34 picks?
It would cost out that 1st round pick though 😢and we need that for a QB
JJ is not going anywhere
