As a airsfot newbie, im building my kit with amazon/temu bits and bops, leave for buying in proper shop the things i need and think cant save like glasses/googles, masks, pew pew etc.
Had no idea res dot risers were even a thing. Great stuff. Might have to pick one up even if i dont need it for logical reasons. They just look dope as f***
Also worthwhile to mention, in germany the Bifrost could be labeled illegal, as it shines a light like a flashlight, so don't store them together if getting checked by police.

I get a lot of magpul stuff at my local cabellas, or bass pro shops.The tactical mask with silicon insert is really nice. I use one for outdoor games. Laylax also released there own version of it, for a very similar price as well.
@@PhoenixFeatherAirsoft I switched to them because the old mesh style with the straps was digging into the sides of my head while I was wearing my coms. I've had zero issues with it, besides a bit of condensation. I just wipe it down between games or whenever I head back to the F.O.B to reload.
yeah I get that with my facepro too. It just happens :) I just mean its a little easier to put on and off. With my facepro I use right now, I have to follow an exact routine in which order I put on Facepro, Boonie etc. in a specific way otherwise it sometimes will slide down at the back of my head during the game.
Luminae make a good ATAK EUD (chest rig phone holder) theyre around £45 - £50 shipped. Also a scrim isnt a bad idea, especially as its effective and used constantly by the military

He had worn them for countless games. He was playing against us on this particular day and rolled up over a hill on us and he was lit up by at least three of us. One of us managed to get a round onto the right lens of his glasses. The lens cracked. Obviously we called a cease fire and he switched out for a backup pair of actual shooting glasses and we learned an important lesson. Most important thing about this comment though… It’s comment 69 (nice)
I'd like to point out that Oakley produces APEL approved Eyewear for the military.... so there's a good chance the seller was correct if it was the m frames etc.... could be an issue of age/long term use of the sunglass lenses as those do degrade over time with exposure to sunlight and use
I would highly suggest to go with contact lenses. I do it myself. It takes like 2 weeks to get used to and then you never go back. Start out with cheap dailies from your drugstore. For a helmet I always go with a super high cut repro :)
I've been looking at the Arcturus LWT MK1 for my first replica, arcturus has a storefront through amazon. Should i still spend $100+ in extra fees to get it from an airsoft website? I dont have any local stores nearby

I had the mouthgard, when i first saw it on ali-express, and like many things produced in asia, its unfortunately quiet small, as it is made for asian-sized men, lol. I dont have a huge head, mouth or jaw, but it still wasnt fitting as intended. But maybe, theyve stepped up their game an produce different sizes now.

For surefire there are good chinese repros that you can get pretty cheap, WADSN is one of the brand, but they have wadsn marking instead of surefire, there is also another one with surefire marking but i dont know the brand name, for a lot of the gears you can get one from wosport brand, they usually have very good quality with affordable pricing compared to the ones in amazon
that is absolutely correct! I use aliexpress also quite often for Airsoft items. Its totally fine. In regards of mounted lights, I never really got into it because its not allowed in Germany.
also not a professional, but i carry some more serious trauma related items in my ifak specifically slings splints ice packs and both ibuprofen and Tylenol. never seen anyone break anything but just in case i have the tools to help for anyone with the knowledge to use. better safe then sorry
For the nerds out there who actually give a fk: The sight Tyler Rake is using is an EXPS 3, not an XPS 3. The EXPS sits a little higher and is mounted via QD lever instead of a screw.

Yeah i bought some gloves and gear and they are still holding up great. Affordable and well made products can be found.
just keep in mind that it can always happen that stuff gets lost along the way. Its just a tradeoff we have to accept.

Its an old hunting law. For normies its forbidden to have anything mounted that can illuminate the target. F.e. light or laser, etc.
Find a sane German law challenge (impossible)

Muss ich sagen, dass stimmt so nicht. Natürlich kannst du eine Thermalkamera so benutzen. Das Montieren könnte dann etwas in die Grauzohne gehen.
