Also I wonder if anything can be done about the camera battery issue, as you’ve mentioned it’s not the first time it’s happened
Thank you mate! It's an iPhone arm mount/case thing, pretty cheap on Amazon but does the job! For the battery issues - I've been running some tests and think I've found a solution for now! Unfortunately the battery life on the insta360 Go3 cameras isn't the best, and when the battery doesn't die they seem to overheat after a while and stop recording anyway haha - Jason's had the same issues with his!
My camera didn’t fair any better. It got 8 minutes of the first two sessions, then ran out of battery for the last. I might try reducing the camera’s functionality next time. Turn off stabilisation, wind reduction, drop it to 30 frames per second, and select standard video recording rather than free recording. It just means we will have to go practice again to get some more footage 😀
