Lost my 30 year old daughter 4 days ago. Watching this today as a diversion. I needed those words DC, they came at just the right moment. Thank you. God bless you and your family.
Bless you, Ms. Beth! I'm 31 and was in a car accident Monday (July 27) with my two-year-old daughter. (Car is fine. Front panel, grill, and fog covers need replaced.) Things like this make you think and thank God for what He's provided.
So nice too see the old farm I used to work at as a kid. I remember spending my summer days there with Daddy Cornstar and Grandpa Cornstar. What happened to the hog pins? I didn't see them. Anyway, great to see this wonderful family working together and building their future!
My mom passed when I was 8, by the hands of my dad. Years and years and years of major depression and people giving me sympathy and the best advice I ever got was "put your work boots on, one step after the other" keep your mind busy doing positive things.
Love Summer's sense of humor!!! Her intro should be the permanent Cole the Cornstar video intro!!! Great job Daddy Cornstar and Summer on the videos so far this week!! :-)
Excellent intro Summer! Summer and Daddy Cornstar should do Ariat boot commercials! But on a serious note thanks for the uplifting words DC. It is rough losing a loved one. It has been rough for my family after losing my father to dementia 8 months ago. But we just take it one day at a time. Love your channel!
Kind of bothered me when the farm was referred to as a “ hoarder house”. Most farmers and definitely those raised in the 30s 40 s and 50s saved stuff” just in case you need it”. The work you do honors your dad and gramps and maybe even generations before him. Are you a century farm? Do you have photos of the house when it was built? It would be cool to see.
My very favorite part of this video is Summer acting like “volunteer corn” in the middle of a bean field. LOLZ! We need to contact the Academy and ask where her award is!!
Daddy cornstar, I am closer to 65 than 60 yrs old. I lost my mother when I was 34 and I lost by father when I was 56 yrs old but let me tell you I still miss them every day and have very fond memories. One is when I was about 3 yrs old walking beside my father holding his little finger. I remember it like it was yesterday. Thank you for reminding me particularly of my father, he had a lot of the same types of ideas that you have about how children should be raised.
Omg I never laughed so hard when I saw Summer in the lawn chair and and her speil!!🤣🤣🤣🤣and then in the cornfield! And DC trying to say GARDENIST!😁😁😁 Love that little kitty!
Best one yet DC. I lost my dad March 1st this year. I cared for him for 6 years. I miss him bad but he's back with mom now so he's happy so I must go on. I needed that reminder.
I can relate, as I lost my husband of nearly 6 years to a car accident a month ago. I never imagined I'd be a widow at 29, but God wanted him. It's still hard to move on, but I know I need to. I want to live a good life, so I have interesting things to report to him when I get to heaven. It's one day at a time.
I was a widow at 27. I thought my life was over. I've finally gotten to the point where I can think about all the great times in our short life together and smile instead of crying.
It was lovely to hear you talking honestly about your Dad and the impact his loss had on you. Being real and talking about your process allows others, especially males, to feel okay not burying their experiences. It was very courageous of you. Your Dad would be so proud of all of you. Please don't change for anybody x
My mother just passed away and her funeral is this Saturday. She was 94 years old and I’ve taken care of her and kept her in her home for the last 5 years. I miss her so much. Going from her needing me everyday to her not being here has really taken a toll on me. Your words about your father really touched me and was just what I needed to hear. Love this channel and all the Cornstars. God Bless you guy
Thank you DC for talking about grieving a loss in today's video, I really needed it today. On July 30th it will be 2 years since I lost my father and I am having a hard week, i feel like the 14 and a half years I had with him was a lifetime but I know he is not in any more pain. Ya'll are doing a beautiful job with the farm and I love watching these videos as soon as they come out for the last year, it just brightens up my day. Keep up the great content!!
I would have never thought in my life that I would be addicted to watching a farming family and their day to day life, but I am. I look forward to these videos everyday. Thank you for sharing. (those dislikes I see are probably just unhappy people in general, and nothing you can do about that :)
Same here... I’ve found myself looking forward to each new addition. I discovered this channel a few months ago and got hooked in watching the house clean up. Then I got interested in the rest of it and especially loved watching the harvest. I’m sure I’m not the only one cheering the family on to flesh out Cole’s vision for the farm and his “mansion.” I love how OCD he is about cleaning and organizing. Daddy Cornstar is everyone’s ideal parent...what a great guy. The love he has for his family and animals is so genuine and his work ethic (fueled by candy bars and pizza) is amazing. Cooper, Summer, Nave, and Sable are all so much fun to watch too. Mama Cornstar...wish we could see more of you too. My takeaway from the whole thing...a phenomenal set of parents who raised three great kids. So many bad things out there...it’s nice to see what a functional family can accomplish together.
Summer you rocked that Ariat Boot and Pit viper promo in the corn suit! Another outstanding video by you and Daddy Cornstar. So glad DC that you got that time with your Dad for three months.
I know how it is my grandpa is the same he needs everything because you never know one day you'll need that , i am still waiting for that one day for the past 10 years. Its sad when we lose the love one but look at it like this he is in better place with no pain and he's with you guys every day looking from the above and in your hart's , thanks to him and his dedication to the farm you guys have a strong foundation. Respect keep up the good work you guys make my day with your videos and all the way on the other side of the continent greetings from Croatia And remember " life ain't how hard you hit it's how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward "
I lost my mom to cancer 15 months ago and I still feel like I'm in that whole I don't care phase. Watching you guys makes me feel a lot better. I've got to remember that I have an amazing girlfriend, two amazing brothers and one amazing sister and an awesome dad to keep doing fun stuff with! I know my mom would want that. God bless you and your family
It's awesome seeing a good Christian family work so well together, whether it be them all splitting the farm business equally or Daddy Cornstar helping his son make videos. You guys are an inspiration for my family one day. God bless you all
It’s awesome to see that not only did DC RESPECT his father in life but that also followed through when he passed on and then to the next generation !! Is how it should be !! Obviously DC father was an OUTSTANDING family man who set the example to all who knew him !! ❤️😊❤️ NZ
My husband and I moved into my grandparents farm. It was full of junk scattered around also. Old buildings full of junk, etc.. It took us several years of hard work, but turn the farm around to beauty. My mom was so pleased and proud. I know my grandparents would have been also. All of the work you all are doing is special. Brings back good memories. You will have a feeling that only hard work like this brings in your home.
Thank you for sharing your story about your Dad, DC. I lost my Mom & Dad more than 15 years back. It's the hardest loss anyone with a good relationship with their parents can suffer. I am glad that you got through it and I know just what you mean when you said you grieved for months. I still miss mine all the time...every milestone I wish they were there. Trust that your Dad would be so proud of you and your kids. You have a great family!
🤣 Summer is such a gem! I love her and really glad she also has a RUclips! Double the blessings 🙏. Miss Cole and Nave but DC and summer are an awesome pair ❤
Nave has a channel too and she even uploaded her last video while on vacation. But actully the first cornstar to have a youtube channel long before Cole started this channel, was Cooper (Case-it Coop), but he hasn't posted anything on his channel in like 4 years or so, from before he started o grow a mullet. Case-it Coop channel with no mullet in sight ruclips.net/channel/UCVSc7kLhBclK2WsvfS9l1iAvideos
Summer is hilarious. I love the way she edits. That corn costume though... 😂😂😂 The video was only 10 minutes.🤔 I guess I am grateful there are any videos at all. I love watching the Cornstar family.
I just lost my dad in March. We are a big close family. I still feel moments of profound sadness but I’m so glad for the time we had. Dad’s passing was sad but not tragic. He got to sit for awhile with each of us kids and each grandchild and bless us individually. Thanks for your message about your dad. I love all the videos you guys put up.
DC and mc I wish I would have had parents like y'all growing up. You can really see how much you love them kids and would do anything for them to succeed in life
Cant wait till you get started on cleaning up on the grove and the porch gets built i love watching things getting renovated/cleaned. Keep up the good work love the vids
Thanks DC for talking so openly about loss. My wife and I had our first child in June and lost him 2 days later after he spent his whole life in the NICU. His name was Cooper! Taking it a day at a time, but it helps hearing stories of how others have dealt with loss in their lives. God is good and helps to provide comfort, peace, and hope even though we still wrestle with the pain. I love the 10 minutes of joy this channel brings into my life most days, thanks for all your hard work! You inspire me to tackle much smaller projects around my own house/yard. Greetings from the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.
Thanks for the talk, you are right, we can't spend all our life missing someone. Keep busy, choice happiness and stay around your family and laugh, laugh, laugh!!! You are a great example of a father figure. You're kids are all lucky!
Thanks for sharing your heart DC. It’s hard to lose our folks. Grief is hard work. But you’re so right...he’d be proud of everything your family is doing.
Daddy Cornstar, thank you for sharing about your Dad. I think many folks that lived through the depression era learned to hold on to things, due to the way life was then. Sorry to hear how he passed. Cole sure is blessed to have have been given your father's home!
I didn't realize your dad passed away from cancer. I'm so sorry to hear that. It is definitely hard on everyone. I'm glad you are doing better! Time definitely helps 🙂 Thank you Grandpa Cornstar for allowing these changes. It has been a blessing to me to watch you all.
8 years since I lost my dad. I was 2months into being a dad myself. Man it has been a HARD 8 yrs. Took me till 2 weeks ago to finally be able to go to his grave. I was a Paul bearer at his funeral. And it goes me apart for MONTHS. I always think. "Would be approve? Would be be proud of how I am as a dad/ man? . Worst part is my dad and I had a rocky relationship. We didn't always see eye to eye. Fought alot. I never realized till he was gone. He was my hero. I truly wanted to be like him. Impress him. I only remember 1 time he said "good job. I'm proud of you" that was just before he died. I had almost lost the wife and oldest at birth. Had a house fire. Was working 18hrs/day 7 days a week for 2yrs. And always seemed to never catch a break. Had luck followed. But I did something for a lady broke down and gave her my last $20 in my pocket to get city bus passes to travel to work. Good him and that when he told me he was proud. I think NOTHING I've done my entire life has made me feel that great as that moment did. I joined the Canadian Military to follow in his foot steps. I became a truck driver like he was. I do like he always said. "Do the job at 110% effort or just stay have me and let someone else do it. I HOPE that when I die. It's not St. Peter, Jesus or even God at the gates to meet me. I hope it's my dad...And all he says is...Michael. Welcome. You're I've done so much. But as a dad...I'm proud of you. Miss ya dad. Xoxo
@RADAR Michael Fathers frequently don't say how they really feel. I can remember the day when my father introduced me to his boss. I was in a city near his home on a business trip and we met for lunch. I was disappointed when he showed up with another man. I had wanted to have lunch with him alone. Then he told his boss that he was proud of me. He had never told me that before. I was 26 years old and I'm now 70. I can remember it like it was yesterday. I remember the color of the sky that day. It had a tremendously powerful, positive impact on me and the rest of my life. Consequently, I tell my two sons, aged 39 and 31, frequently how much I love them and how proud I am of them. I urge you all to do the same. You will change your child's life forever. They will never have to wonder how you felt about them. Also, share the good news of Jesus Christ with them. It will positively affect them for all eternity. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16 ESV bible.com/bible/59/jhn.3.16.ESV
There isn't a day that goes by I don't tell my boys I love them both. And when they do something I am proud of. I tell them immediately. Both my boys are in Catholic schools. I am a Catholic. Just I don't go to church. As I was a soldier. Did what a soldier has to do. I am not ashamed not regretful for it. So I I go to church to (in my opinion) insult the #1 commandment)
DC-condolences for your Dad. You're doing great in every way moving on, but his loss clearly left a hole. Your RUclips family feel it. You and your family are wonderful folks.
God bless you Cornstar family and all the farmers around the world we own you our lives. I will love to spend a week working with you guys there..I love farms and the countryside, when I was a kid my vacations were in my uncle's farm...the best memories ever.
Daddy Cornstar thank you for sharing your thoughts on your struggle with loosing your father. You are a good man and I see where your kids get their good attitudes from. I have lost a son so I know the struggles of getting thru day to day at the beginning when it happens. Glad you have moved past it and are reflecting positively on the experience.
Great job while Cole's away. Summer too funny. Very touching talking about Grandpa. It hits home for many of us. That's why I keep coming back and hitting the thumbs up.
Oh my gosh love Summer ❤️she cracks me up. She's so corny😊 D.C. you are doing a fabulous job while Cole is gone. Really enjoying your spin on farm life. Keep it up 👍
Daddy Cornstar I could always scene how close you were to your father that was a very heart felt story about him and passing the touch to you and your kids. ❣️❣️❣️
Enjoyed listening to daddy corn star talk about how he felt after his Dad passed. I lost both my Dad and Mom in 2019. I am having a hard time adjusting. I miss them so . Thank you 😊.
Sorry for your loss - especially both parents in the same year. Someone wise told me that there is no time limit on grief - you will “move on” as you need to to survive, but allow yourself to grieve too, no matter how long it takes. I lost my mother 23 yrs ago and my father 16 years ago but both anniversaries are 3 weeks apart (3 May and 24 May) and I miss them every day. My thoughts are with you and anyone who has lost someone and struggling. 💕🇦🇺
You are allowed to have a hard time, you have to give yourself permission to grieve, and that isn’t a preset timeline. If you’re having such a hard time that you’re not able to function it’s absolutely ok to work with a grief counselor. They aren’t there to eliminate your grief or minimalize your feelings or the memories of your parents, but they can help you to experience that grief in a way that allows you to heal. Just know that grieving isn’t a weakness.
Tammy Eich I’m sorry for your loss. I lost my parents 90 days apart in 2009/2010. It’s always hard adjusting to life without parents-no matter your age. You take your own grieving journey, don’t let anyone tell you you’re taking too long. My heart is with you.
My grandpa died of brain cancer...i know he wasn't my dad but it hurt a lot when God took him. Just like when he took my daughter after her heart surgery. I'm still trying to part with her stuff...some days it's just to hard to let go. Stay strong y'all. Love from IllinOISE
You’re right Daddy cornstarch, Time to grieve when I lost my grandfather I lost interest in even going to the farm, But I remembered that going on with my life is what he’d of said to do. Sure miss him. Look forward to meeting you and Cole at some farm shows, let us know the future shows you guys plan to attend. Take care God Bless Rev. TA Luck
Summer is really outstanding in her field
😂😂😂
Best comment I’ve ever read
I thought Summer was looking kind of "Husk....ie"😁
😂🤣
That’s the corniest pun I’ve ever read.
Lost my 30 year old daughter 4 days ago. Watching this today as a diversion. I needed those words DC, they came at just the right moment. Thank you. God bless you and your family.
So very sorry for your loss!
So sorry for your loss. Take daddy corn star’s advice it was spot on.
Oh my....my heart is aching for you. Prayers for u Beth
Bless you, Ms. Beth! I'm 31 and was in a car accident Monday (July 27) with my two-year-old daughter. (Car is fine. Front panel, grill, and fog covers need replaced.) Things like this make you think and thank God for what He's provided.
So sorry, Beth. I lost my little sister when she was 36. My mom went through what you're going though. Prayers for you.
Touching moment while you talked about your dad with your heart in your throat DC. He'd be proud of what Cole's done so far.
It was so heart felt indeed. I like that Daddy Cornstar can talk about very difficult situations with us viewers.
He almost made me cry .. I just lost my husband of 43 years , on May 27.😢
kammann-So so sorry to hear that! Praying you receive an extra special blessing this week!Pam manning-So
I doubt Cole's grandpa would've wanted to constantly referred to as a hoarder at every twist and turn
@@pamkammann1176 My thoughts and prayers to you Pam. So sorry for your lose
Guys, how good of a guy is DC? Let's all tell him...DC, you are a good man and father!!!
Cole, looks like you can take a longer vacation, D.C. and Summer are killing it.
Yes he needs to keep having her do his advertising for sure. Very funny lol
So nice too see the old farm I used to work at as a kid. I remember spending my summer days there with Daddy Cornstar and Grandpa Cornstar. What happened to the hog pins? I didn't see them. Anyway, great to see this wonderful family working together and building their future!

I love the daddy cornstar pep talks about stuff he wouldn’t normally talk about, but feels nice coming from him. Keep up the good work guys🥳
He speaks from the heart!! A real genuine gentleman!!!
👍
It's funny because that is the part through the video I don't like and sometimes skip through
Love Summer's sense of humor!!!
They did.
So sorry for your lost, gd luck .
Summer, excellent editing on the intro. Loving the corn costume.
Way Over the TOP!!!
DaddyCornStar I bet your dad is smiling in heaven, proud that his son and grandson are bringing his home/farm back to her original beauty!!!!
Amen.
Daddy Corn Star, you’re getting me all choked up! I think your dad would be really pleased with everything you guys are doing.
Kind of bothered me when the farm was referred to as a “ hoarder house”. Most farmers and definitely those raised in the 30s 40 s and 50s saved stuff” just in case you need it”. Karen Theobald the house was built just over 100 years ago. And Cole’s grampa was born there in that big house.
My very favorite part of this video is Summer acting like “volunteer corn” in the middle of a bean field. LOLZ! We need to contact the Academy and ask where her award is!!
I laughed out loud !
I laughed so hard. I bet you will never forget what volunteer corn is... Humour + education
Always entertaining. Summer should be head of marketing. Brilliantly hilarious
How about it?
Summer is the undisputed queen of Cornstar Farm!
Oh my gosh yes. The boots plug montage was the best I've seen on RUclips
Rex Johnson favorite turd ! Lol
The plants are thirsty! Brando is what plants crave! Brando has electrolytes!!

Summer is as goofy as Daddy Cornstar! Silly girl!
Summer is zany😅😵
You could say she's a bit corny 😉 haha....
Who remember this corn costume being used last harvest 😂😂😂😂
Yes🤣🤣
Yeah when she laid on the corn head
The best.
Omg I never laughed so hard when I saw Summer in the lawn chair and and her speil!!🤣🤣🤣🤣and then in the cornfield!

Love that little kitty!
The boots looked way to big for her too
Summer you are a riot Cole has some serious competition totally love this intro.

Low key summer has taken production to the next level, cole better up his game lol
Yeah she has.. I also really enjoy watching DC around the farm. And hearing about his father was nice
My thoughts exactly. Summer Cornstar and Daddy Cornstar make a great team.
The Cornstar family, every single one of them, are a huge blessing, a bright shiny star, in this scary world. They give me hope. God bless you all. 🥰🥰

Summer so cute in her pit vipers and ariat boots. Good job Daddy! Hope Cole is having fun and taking pictures.
When cole gets back, I wonder if summer will get “canned”🤣
I laughed pretty hard at this one 🤣
Ok that's funny
Cole will most likely freeze her out of the job!
If she does it'll be sweet corn😇😇😂😂
Summer has taken this channel to a whole new level! Both her and DC need a raise.

I almost spit water through my nose when I saw @Sumgoodstuff out there in the field LOL! So funny!
Daddy Corn Star and Summer are top-notch talents!
So cute with Summer in the corn costume. Very clever and well done!
Paul area.
The Ariat & Pit Viper Ad: laughing so hard we can ‘t breathe!
Best one yet!!
Watching you be a great dad is the best gift a son can give his family. Love to you all 💙
Woah, a whole grove of very fruitful "junk" trees. Them things have produced a lot over the years.
😂😂😂
It would be fun to see you transplant some huge healthy plants into the garden while they are away. Any local donors?
That skid loader has to be the hardest working thing on your farm.
I think the pizza delivery guy is the hardest working on the farm. :-)
We use it a lot!
Thanks for the talk, you are right, we can't spend all our life missing someone. Keep busy, choice happiness and stay around your family and laugh, laugh, laugh!!! You are a great example of a father figure. You're kids are all lucky!
Summer, you’re doing a great job!!
Thanks for sharing your heart DC. It’s hard to lose our folks. Grief is hard work. But you’re so right...he’d be proud of everything your family is doing.
Love Sister Corn Star! She’s so fun.
Papacornstar was blessed to mourn and see the family evolves and he puts his own legacy to the family.
Lol. Cole, don’t change anything. But Summers on a roll with the Home Alone spoof and the sister cornstar intro. 😆😆
Daddy Cornstar, thank you for sharing about your Dad. I think many folks that lived through the depression era learned to hold on to things, due to the way life was then. Sorry to hear how he passed. Cole sure is blessed to have have been given your father's home!
Summer needs to be in charge of advertising
Xoxo
God bless u...
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."

God bless you Radar Michael!
@@oconnke1 Wonderful advice!
Oh Daddy Cornstar you and Summer make a great duo. Thank you for the fun of this channel. Your both fun and it shows.

Great words of wisdom from Daddy Cornstar.
Lost my mom 3 months ago, thank you so much daddy CS!
remembering the words and advice of your grandparents and parents is so important. when we are young we think we know everything. Guess what ???
And just like that, Summer creates the new "Head of Advertising" department at Cornstar Farms lol
DC, I think you really like flattening things with the skid loader.

You two are doing a great job for Cole while he’s on vacation.!
Through the dark times comes the light! Focus on the good and know your Mom and Dad never stop loving you. Prayers!
Tammy Eich I’m sorry for your loss. I lost my parents 90 days apart in 2009/2010. It’s always hard adjusting to life without parents-no matter your age. You take your own grieving journey, don’t let anyone tell you you’re taking too long. My heart is with you.
My mom has bone cancer and we love watching your family. It’s a bright spot when chemo makes her tired and she can’t do much. A laugh goes a long way
Haha Summer! I can't even. 😂
The corn in your beans is super tall!! I love your humor, Summer!!
Daddy Cornstar and Summer are doing great 👍🏽. You guys have a very charming family!
My grandpa died of brain cancer...i know he wasn't my dad but it hurt a lot when God took him. Just like when he took my daughter after her heart surgery. I'm still trying to part with her stuff...some days it's just to hard to let go. Stay strong y'all. Love from IllinOISE
So sorry for both losses, but especially your daughter. May they rest in peace and you find peace with their passing also xx
