I keep asking myself how one person can be so stunningly gifted - everything she touches turns to gold. What a great privilege to be able to live at the same time as Diana Ankudinova and get to follow her journey and hear her songs.
Yep, cool that the internet allows us to discover her, too! She is definitely musically talented and has been gifted with the greatest voice, but the rest is dedicated hard work and right attitude. It would be great if more people took a leaf from her book. We need a new global Renaissance.

Great comments and yes you got the gist of it, this is generally about someone who's feelings are very complicated and can have no rest at night so she wonders through the streets feeling that she is somewhere else than the rest of the world.

This song is sculpted out of 100 year old poems from Russian poetess Marina Tsvetaeva. This was taken out of her phrases about insomnia. Sultry is a good descriptive word for this. As Diana ages I think she will become known for her sultry mysterious voice.

Идея песни
Главная мысль стихотворения «Я тебя отвоюю…» - невозможность обладать человеком полностью, пока он жив, несовместимость абсолютной любви и жизни. По М.И. Цветаевой, физическая смерть способна освободить от мирских оков и подарить человеку новое воплощение, в котором он будет счастливым и любимым. Любить полно и ярко невозможно при жизни, так как мир людей полон отвлекающих от чувств факторов. Правда, готов ли человек отказаться от себя в пользу всепоглощающей страсти? Нужна ли ему любовь-борьба, сравнимая с верным псом? Два крыла, упомянутые в финале, указывают на то, что герой отвергает дар дикого леса и устремляется в мир, к себе самому и всему многообразию свободы.
Смысл стихотворения «Я тебя отвоюю…» состоит в том, что ослепленный страстью человек, желающий отвоевать другого, убивает его своим напором, ведь лишает права выбора и личной свободы. Такая любовь обречена на трагический финал.
