- Air France introduces one of its interpreters on board its flights to Korea. To and from Seoul, an interpreter assists Korean customers throughout their flight.

I wonder if this special task of interpreter is only done by AF, not other airlines. But again, awesome job by Air France to make special treatment to some passengers from certain destination countries...

Very interesting video, but I don’t see a big difference between onboard interpreter and bilingual flight attendant?
The difference is that those onboard interpreters are not in charge of the safety in case of emergency. The usual regulations for cabin crews are not applied to them.
@@sahngseoklee6943 ah I see. Then I feel like it’s an extra cost to the airline company. They might as well just train the interpreter to be a flight attendant or hire some bilinguals
@@mutongniu7368 The interpreters work on 2-year contract only. I think the airline can save the cost in this way by paying them less than the "real" flight attendants.
