yes saudi airlines economy can be considered as 5 star class, i hve traveled 4 times direct flight riyadh to manila and i can proudly say that i/we were given high quality service! Approachable and friendly flight crew, good food and drinks!

@@johnwick860Yes. Saudi airlines (Saudia) is the national aircraft of Saudi Arabia (an Islamic country) they wont serve alcohol on any class from what i know.
April 2023 will be my 3rd time flying saudia airlines to manila from the UK. Cant wait to see the lovely aircrafts.

What’s the ground staff and all the non on air service like? To be a good airline the ground service needs to be good too
Their ground staff at Heathrow is outsourced and they look to me good but at Jeddah they have their own staff which is massively improved in service as compared to my previous experience.
Great review - thanks for posting. I'm due to be on the same flight in a few weeks time so good to get your impressions. First time with Saudia. Interestingly, there looks to be a later flight LHR to Riyadh which would have given me a shorter connection - but at least I get to see something of the country!

@@ianpearson8976 yes, it was a good flight - great legroom in economy and good food and service. The connecting flight to BKK was busy - no doubt due to Thailand's reopening and Saudia's very competitive prices. Definitely would look to take the direct flight from London to Riyadh if taking that route again - it made for a long journey travelling via Jeddah and Riyadh. No idea what prices are like now but I'd be surprised if they haven't increased.
@@neilrmartin1984 yes they have. I saw these from Manchester to bkk in January for 500 pounds but being a bit of an unknown quantity I opted for Eva Air from LHR. Flights now to bkk in July are 1100 from Manchester including this airline. I have seen Saudi though at 765 to Kuala Lumpur so I might do this and a side trip to penang.
@@ianpearson8976 maybe not an option if you're traveling from Manchester, but worth looking at the Central Asia airlines (eg Air Astana and Uzbekistan) which are good and pre Covid at least had regular connecting flights to Bangkok. They don't normally appear on the likes of Skyscanner so you'd need to go to their websites.
Hi.. is Jeddah airport process so complicated that Saudia needs minimum 3 hours connection time as stated in their website? I'm interested to use Saudia KUL-MAN but as transit time is 2.5 hours I'm nervous to choose it
Since they have build new Jeddah airport things have improved a lot.

Will be going from UK to Jeddah next month. Short layover before flying to Madinah. I've read that their flights are known to not be punctual....did you experience this?/should I be worried????
I have used this airline for almost 7 times but never experience delay. Their service is fantastic only for European destination and good for other destinations
I think it is better to remain seated while praying during travelling in an aircraft because what will happen in case of turbulance?
Brother Tanwir, I think during turbulence they close this space and they don’t allow to use it.

You can check in online with your Ticket number + your last name or you can also check in at airport

Yes every seat has charging pot next to LED screen where you can charge your phone.

If your transit is more than 24 hours then you need visa otherwise no visa required

I travel on this airline quite frequently and I find this best. Now Delay of flight is possible on all airline.

I would say Saudia is providing better service than Qatar or Emirates but only on European or US sectors. They still need improvements on subcontinent or Asian sectors. There is no bidet in toilet. Staff is very friendly so you can ask for more meals or snacks I am sure they will help you with it.

No you just need 2 vaccines. They only check at Heathrow but when you land in saudi they don’t check vaccination certificate

You are too much focusing on passengers and crew when filming, especially upon boarding.
That's disrespectful and you should not do so!
Despite this I'd like to say that Saudia has become a real competitor to other major airlines not only in the middle east region but also from abroad.
No matter what class of service, Saudia performs very well! 👍

Yea I used Saudia 3 times before covid. Since crown prince MBS bringing changes in country I found that new terminal has English speaking staff and all the facilities are available like pray rooms WiFi, lifts, escalators and much more. Ground staff is also very friendly and their attitude is very good. Saudia has brand new air crafts as well

No this is not true, they have ban their own citizens (Saudis) to travel to some countries where COVID is spreading again.

Is it their B787-9's because I am pretty sure that B789-10 doesn't exist (maybe you just got confused)
It is B787-10 please see differences between both

This airline is best for European destinations means from Jeddah to london or Amsterdam or paris but their service needs improvement for Asian destinations
I highly recommend you to book this for European sectors

@@lostinthephilippines6179 at the moment there is no requirement for PCR if you traveling to Saudia but you have to have 2 vaccines doses.

Miqat came about 50 minutes before landing. They announced in plane to put Ihraam for Umrah

Is jeddah airport open 24hrs? I will transit in Jeddah Airport for 10hrs but its at night and will board next flight on early morning so might be pointless if I apply transit visa if I cant go anywhere.

Saudi Airline lost my luggage my worst experience with this airline and staff because i travelled Lahore to London Heathrow in Saudi Airline via Ryadh Airport but my check in 23 kg baggage was not arrive in London so quickly report to saudi desk in written form . i have contacted this airline daily and also visit Heathrow saudi desk many time but they not locate my luggage and i desperately need my belongings. i want to you saudi airline fully compensate my luggage as soon as
