Tim, you may not know me personally, but you are one of the many mentors I have picked up on! If only I knew you on a personal 1 on 1 basis, I'm always striving for more and more minds to teach me how to become someone bigger than I was yesterday. I'm only 14, and hope to accomplish what you, along with the many other mentors I look up to, all the progress you guys have made and more by 21! Only just now getting into your channel, so I am going to continue digging into more of this powerful information you convey! Thank you, my friend :)!

Thank you. I meet too many people who are hearing but not listening including close friends..it just irritates me at times and most of the time, i lost the desire to speak..and let them talk. Thinking maybe they need to be heard more than i. This happens with text messages too..ending with repeated messages which annoy me so much..since i am someone who types details in a couple or few texts; avoiding unnecessary sending of too many texts.

So many people listen to react. At the same time you’re talking to them they are already thinking in their head about their story. This is such an awesome teaching in that, like you said, we must listen to understand. Otherwise people will know you are not interested in what they have to say. They’re story that means alot to them means nothing to you.

Whenever I try to talk to someone I don’t make sense a lot of the times. I spend a lot of time talking to my dad and a lot of the times I just don’t make sense. I also have autism which has affected my communication. From person experience I find it really talking to people as well as communicating my thoughts and feelings.

Ugh damnit... I have mimicked the conversation sabotagers, just trying to be hear and share info about myself, that I have came off as self centered... Ugh :'( I kept getting negative vibes from them and I didn't know why, plus I can't hold up small talk. I've always been the listener, not the talker growing up, so now that I'm an adult and HAvE to talk to adults... I have failed greatly and isolated myself because of it. Now I'm having to study to figure out why I suck so bad and really step back and analyze myself. I'm so upset... Literally crying because I have social anxiety and I hate being seen negatively when I'm really an empathetic person. I just want to make friends and feel connected with my inlaws. I'm wondering if I'm on the spectrum as well :/ I wait for people to share more information like I do .. but I now know, I have to ask for it. Sigh...

About the first point, I personally tell my experience in a conversation regarding what somebody is saying with the intention to make them feel that what they passed through is relatable to me, not to sway the conversation towards me. I don't think that is strictly wrong.
