- This is the discovery of the Sloth victim in the 1995 masterpiece Seven (or Se7en).
I apologise for the framing of the clip. It's the best I could do.
The star of this clip is Michael Reid Mackay (the victim)
Seven is property of New Line and I do not claim ownership. In other words, please don't sue me!
It scared the shit out of me seeing that zombie looking creature who suffered god knows what for a year jump into life. Especially given the creepy, dark nature of the movie.
rapper250 Given that he was previously a Pedophile, if it happened to a Pedophile or Child-Killer in real Life, I admit I'd have little sympathy.
soeffingwhat Yeah, but in the context of not knowing the person. Its pretty torturous
+soeffingwhat That's a pretty sick way to think in itself...
More studies need to be conducted, not blood-calling.
TJPguy *That's a pretty sick way to think in itself* No its not, you are probably missing my point, I wasn't doing any "Blood-Calling", I'm not *wishing* for it to happen to anyone, I merely said I'd have little sympathy if it was a Pedophile or a Child-Killer that this happened to and many People think the same way. Are you trying to say you'd have Sympathy for a Child-Killer if this happened to him? And what Studies are you referring to? Ways of "Curing" Pedohilia? I don't think its possible.
+rapper250 Yeah...but... 8 year olds, dude.
How I wake up everyday.
nah, that requires too much energy and good mood for me.
LOL I'M DEAD
Ed Deasy jajajajajaja greatness.
Ghh
Lmao
He was hooked up to an IV to give enough nutrients to keep vital bodily functions going, but not enough to keep from losing weight, muscle mass, or the vitamins your body can't produce.
So from lack of sunshine, lack of mobility, and lack of food all his limbs would have atrophied, and bed sores would have formed, blood pools would have rotted his skin etc.
Necrotic skin stinks to high heavens. Eww so gross.
it's a movie scene dude.. it's fake
@@PRATEEKsirji Pretty sure they knew that
@@PRATEEKsirji but what they said was true of a bedridden patient.
He would have long since died from any number of things including sepsis, blood clots, heart failure, shock, etc.
For people who don't understand how him being a drug dealer and child molestor is the sin 'sloth', my understanding (maybe this can shed some light, although Im not sure if it is true) is that The sin Sloth is to be spiritually, physically and emotionally inactive. I think he was spiritually inactive in his disbelief and life choices, physically inactive from his lack of proper job, education and movement in the last year of his life and emotionally inactive by his attraction and molestation of younger kids (lacking the emotional barrier of right/wrong). This is just my knowledge.
Scar Weld Hmm....... That sort of makes sense.
***** yeah, the idea is that he did nothing with his life and contributed nothing to society. This is how he represents sloth.
WanBaw McGraw ...... Then, about sixty percent of people represent sloth.
***** that's just cheap cynicism without any evidence to back it up.
WanBaw McGraw Look around you. That's _all_ the evidence I need. if you can't see it, then you're blind.
0:51 Stealth level increased
lmao!
LOL!!!
+L O 😂😂
LMFAO
He kinda blended in perfectly in the dark as a blank!
Fun movie fact: the guy in the bed played the Monopoly guy in Ace Ventura 2.
You completely blew my mind right now
AdamWe631 Good thing hes still alive
What! thats crazy. Cool fact! :D
Life works in strange ways.
I no longer take any of this seriously because of you. Thanks
This movie can psychologically fuck you up till the day you die.
***** Oh I adore this movie as well, but it truly is one of the most disturbing films you will ever watch.
This scene bothered me for a long time after i first saw it
You must not have seen too many films.
Melissa Smith A lot of movies, Melissa. A LOT of movies, and this one really hit me in the gut.
Chris Wolff Such as? I haven't seen this movie but it doesn't look like much.
I wonder what people's reactions in the theaters were when the sloth guy suddenly woke up?
+Joseph Dutra Probably the same as yours.
@109103464405398808524 You know, the first time I actually saw this film, I had a feeling that was going to happen. I mean the close up between him and the cop, the way the music becomes silent, totally building up to it.
+Joseph Dutra Funny that you ask - I saw this in the theatre (everyone screamed in my theatre) and I swear to God that a 25 year old gal next to me screamed, covered her face (I think crying) and said exactly "I can't watch this, I can't!" and left the theatre with her face in her hand....true story...her date had to go after her...lol..they never came back....doubt he got laid.lol..shoulda picked a romantic-comedy for date night.I must be a creep cause this is the part that got me really into the flick....
Erections.
Well my teacher told us that she fell of the seat when the guy started moving. We’re studying this movie for English.
Man this movie is a masterpiece... Dont know how many cases like this is happening in real life, but one thing sure I dont want to be a commando unit or detective.
William Archer i would love to
B. Sz. Probably not a lot because it would be spammed on The news channels
If you've read a lot of true crime there has been some seriously twisted stuff that while not as fantastical as this, is close. Look up the Toybox Killer
@@xXEvangelXx Some sick bastards out there still.
@@xXEvangelXx well thanks to google that's a thing I can't unknown now 😳😬
I like how this movie not only is centered around the seven deadly sins but the fact that the scenery is set in urban decay (all the apartment complexes, the underground whore house, crime-ridden city etc.) and its constantly raining adding to the aspect of the movie which includes sin and misery. Brilliant movie.
I say flush the whole city down the drain
Basically Gotham c8ty 😂
And the last day was sunny for the final epilogue.
@@Inkbkank.2029I would love to see an even darker Batman along the lines of this movie. Like very sadistic where Batman plays the detective(Somerset/Mills) and the entire Rogues gallery is committing crimes/murders across the city.
The cops taunting ’You got what you deserved’ always stayed with me
I dont understand how they know who it is
@@randomhiphop5055 because they knew who they were going to arrest there/who owns the appartment. They arrested him a year prior for being child molester and stuff. But his lawyer (the one who was killed for greed earlier in the movie) got him out. And that was probably in the news.
There's obviously no way to know from his appearance apart from the pictures but only the detectives looked at those.
@randomhiphop5055 there were pictures of the guy before during and after
my friend stood up out of his seat at the 3:30 part when he saw this the first time in the theatre
Fun fact the other actors didn't know the guy in the bed was an actual actor or that he would spring to life so all of their surprise is completely genuine
I don’t think it can be possible because they kept acting and draw out weapon and all
@@aykandogan9049 Very much possible. Especially with improvisation.. Or the movie could've been edited to show their real reactions then later added the script lines to fit the scene.. Very possible
fun fact: you made that up
@@its1899 Fun Fact: He's right, and you're wrong.
@@gabrielmartines3510 fun fact:that true

😂😂😂
I dont see why they would try to save him at that point... not to be heartless but he is not going to survive that at all, his body is half decayed. Plus from being tied up an kept alive while your body rotted you would have gone crazy as well the pschological damage is going to force him to be hospitalized... I would have rather been shot to save the suffering any farther.
I'm not sure about the pros and cons on that decision. But given his pedofiliac background, he still has Hell to look forward to
Matthew Schrier They cant legally just shoot him
Matthew Schrier I was about to say that, I bet at that point because of his crimes would you just let him die or would you try to save his life even though he has done some very awful things. John Doe took matters into his own hands and tortured him. Like that guy said "you got what you deserved"
I mean if they managed to save him, they could have questioned him about the identity of the killer
I doubt they'd get that in time. I'd keep him alive for research tbh.
Possibly the most horrifying scene in movie history.
Nah brah
+Fernando Reyes agree aha
I would agree. At the time. Then the Saw and Hostile franchises were inspired by the French and the Korean horror movie makers. This movie disturbed me until I saw Martyrs. Highly recommend that movie. Make sure you watch the original version.
It is. And I've seen a lot of horror movies...this scene traumatises me the most. What makes it so terrifying is that we don't see what happened to him that led to this state. A whole year of just being tied to a bed, tortured, being half starved...you have to use your imagination.
@@irishnessie It's called *Fear of the Unknown* A powerful technique that most horrors/thrillers lack nowadays.
"...and he still has hell to look forward to"
John C. McGinley is the most underrated actor of all time.
He Is 💯💯💯
This is where this movie went next-level. When I saw this in '95 I kept thinking "there's no way to finish this at the level the movie is at". Annnnnd....I was wrong.
Wake up in the morning feelin like...Holy SHIT IM BEAUTIFUL
"DON'T LOOK AT ME! I'M TOO SEXY FOR THE HUMAN EYE!"
Well it sure as hell not P. Diddy !!!
I love telling people that the Sloth victim in Seven is a real-live actor and not an animatronic or a dummy. Seriously, kudos has to go to Michael Reid MacKay and the magic of Rob Bottin and his team.
You could dispel the argument over whether horror is psychological or visual with this. This contains the best of both worlds. One the one hand, the ghastly appearance of the victim and on the other hand, just look at the comments below! "How did he survive?" "What did he do?" "Imagine the pain!"
Holy shit, it was Rob Bottin behind this? no wonder it was so good.
Bob Rottin
There's very few films so masterfully done that they become instant classics, se7en is one of them films.
Back when this movie first came out it was the worst scene that me and people I knew had ever seen in a movie. O.o It was notorious. I remember talking about movies with different coworkers at different jobs and it was always the same thing - worst scene?/scariest movie? "Sloth...." That's all anybody had to say, and everybody knew what they were referring to. The first time we had all seen this back in the 90s it was just so shocking. When rewatching this movie for the first time in ''98 or so I had to get liquored up just for this one scene. "oh god.....i know it's coming......ahhhhhhhhhhh!....." Now all these years later I'm desensitized, but it's still insanely creepy. When they enter the apartment and the camera suddenly focuses in on hundreds of pine tree air fresheners attached to the ceiling, you know shit's about to get real.....
Carissa Conti have you ever seen the movie? Bruh lust was the worst one
Ikr. Back in the 90s this was so shocking that I remember my elementary teacher sharing the story with us students like a horror story
Josh Windes hell the ending is what got me the most. It sticks with you forever lol
Actually, my friend and I were jolted even MORE by the Lust victim and the device used to kill her... but when this guy coughed, we jumped a mile out of our seats!!
I think lust was a lot worse. That scene actually made me uncomfortable. And trust me that's saying a lot because I watch violent movies all the time.
Movie Trivia:
When the Sloth Corpse began coughing surprisingly,
All of the actors in that scene made a REAL reaction to it.
Because the director didn't tell them that the supposed prop corpse for this scene was actually a real actor in disguise.
Sometimes, you have to surprise the actors and actresses to get a real reaction to a specific scene of the movie.
David Fincher is a clever genius.
This might be the most realistically frightening scene. When that what you think corpse comes to life as the cops hovering closely over him. Grotesque as fuck.
Try picturing yourself strapped to a bed, with no way to move. If you have an itch, if you want to run spread your legs stretch arms you can't do anything about it. There's no eating, no drinking and you've constantly pissed and messed yourself countless times. No television, no music, and no one can hear you. You are alone, and there's absolutly nothing to do. for twenty four hours you suffer. now imagine three hundred sixty six days strapped to a bed with no way to get out.
This scene terrified me for years as a child.
@HeHeeHeeheHe - Why were you watching this movie as a child?
This is the most painful way of death in the seven
I would rather die in lust
chondroitinsulphate technically Sloth never died.
boi. you have to know that sloth is a sin, not some guy you find in a abandoned apartment.
AsdfjkEd sloth is the inability to care for one's self and is almost entirely inactive. His refusal to face the justice he deserved was his inability to care for himself on TOP of a year of immobility and dependency
@@jsca1082 that's envy. Wrath represents mills, and mills did not die. But Mills got a harsh punishment. His views, moral, etc, basically every value in him is changed. In fact, I don't know for sure, but this could be Doe's last mission, to get Mills to be the same as Doe himself. That way, another devil is born. This movie pretty much represents the evil of the world. How (d)evil works and his relationship and contrast to God. I can explain all this very long if u want but I'm just saying it to prove how masterpiece this is movie is.... wow...
@@sadhydra So does Wrath.
3:31 - scariest moment in a non-horror film.
good call! I think the horse's head scene from the Godfather belongs in the Top Five. The psycho music really built up the terror in that scene.
1:16 "They love this..."
Epic line, one of many in this masterpiece. Possibly the best film of the 90s imo. I also like, "How's this for culture..."
He has been through more pain than you or I could possibly imagine and he still has hell to look forward to.
Good. The thing was a predator.
That’s how they should be handled.
1000 air freshners cuz dis shit be stinkin
Mondays in a nutshell...
This was infinitely more shocking than the ending. Toward the end, you slowly start to realize what’s inside the package and who the last two victims several minutes before it’s revealed. But *THIS* literally came out of nowhere. When I watched this one Netflix a few months ago, I actually got up out of my seat and yelled “OH MY GOD!!!!” over and over again. It is by far the best twist in any movie I’ve ever seen.
(And I’ve seen The Sixth Sense)
"...and he still has HELL to look forward to!"
whats the monthly rent for that building, $2 a month? what a dump
It might be a dump.. but you can’t denied, that Victor missing any kind of space in his apartment. Lets face it: There was a lot of space in there - even more than just 1-2 rooms for 1 person, which is remarkable.
Still better than the house in fightclub
That’s Section 8 housing for you..
Knowing New York it’s probably a grand a week
the doctor at the hospital later on in the movie manages to keep him alive, but says that he man has gone through more pain than anyone living he has ever seen and at this point pointing a flashlight in his eyes would kill him from the shock.
what a nightmare...
He is covered in bedsores, that would be the challenge - bedsores can kill you quite easily... It's likely the drugs he gave him made him insane - I think anyone could survive a year of ennui.
A person can absolutely survive being strapped to a bed for a year. The way they made him look and the explanations they gave later make absolutely no sense. It's a movie though. So. Whatever.
@@babymaude8469 You need some ripple mattress and youll be fine
I can't help but be distracted by the third arm at 2:30...
Linkjoy123 Erm... What kind of connection do you see between my comment and being a necrophiliac? But hey, if the shoe fits, wear it...
+Linkjoy123 You know that I was talking about his actual arm? There was a famous movie mistake in this scene. You can clearly see that he has two left arms at 2:30 - one fake, one real. They failed at hiding his actual, healthy arm. What kind of creep are you...
Linkjoy123 This is one of the best known movie mistakes. If you didn't think of sex immediately like a 13 year old and took the obvious meaning of what I said, there wouldn't be any misunderstanding. Grow up, buddy.
+buxxi90 Although I didn't immediately think of the guy's penis when you wrote "third arm," I DO understand the other commenter's point. I've heard it euphemistically referred to as a "third leg," which is probably what the other poster thought. So everybody's right!! :)
Linkjoy123 No, not guys. Just you.
This has gotta be one of the most insanely creepy, eerie, amazing movies ever
Saw this in the theater and all these years later, I am still creeped out when I see a tree shaped air freshener.
When I was first watching this, my brother walked in at 3:32 and said "Wow. Didn't know there were zombies in this movie." I just replied "That's not a zombie."
This scene scared my Dad so much he couldn't watch the movie any further.
Silverlarkspur87 Did YOU finish it?
Yes I did. I wanted to finish watching the movie in order to find out who did it.
hes a pussy
I'd hate to think what he would've thought of the picture of the sex... "device" used to kill the Lust victim!
Aww. Poor dad! Hug him for us!
I work in EMS and my partner and I just ran a call like this. This poor man was lying on his couch covered in feces and piss, completely naked and skeletal; only thing a could compare it to are pictures of Holocaust victims from history books. There were notes hanging from inside the front door and kitchen saying, “Please check on me I might dead.” The entire home was trashed and from what it seems like he was surviving off Kool aid. His skin would rip off when we try to sheet him over to the gurney and he could barely scream above a whisper. He was so weak and dry he wouldn’t even bleed every time we poke him to start an IV. This wasn’t a serial killer, just negligence from a family who pretty much left him to die in his own house.
Great production design. I'd love to see a Netflix or AMC series made in this style. I think the closest we've gotten is True Detective.
I think this movie is the definition of the crime-thriller genre. TD season 1 had the same dark feeling but was a bit over the top, this one feels really realistic imo.
fluxmuldar you should check out slasher. it is an eight episode series
7 sins in 7 episodes and the 8th is the finale
If netflix did this scene the, swat team etc. would have consisted of gay PoC women leading a swat team.
Mindhunter
And I thought Ramsay Bolton torturing Theon Greyjoy on A Song of Ice and Fire was bad.
Mlk I didn't 'torture' him. Reek was punished for his behaviour.
Ramsay did not torture Theon. It was our enemies.
The doctor says after this scene that death is imminent "He would die of shock right now if you were to shine a flashlight into his eyes. He's suffered more pain and suffering than I've ever encountered....and he still has hell to look forward to!" So
trippy
@vocoloidfreak11 He also tortured him the whole time, "Even if his brain were not mush, which it is, he chewed off his own tongue long ago...he's experienced about as much pain and suffering as anyone I've encountered"
Dr. Cox, yelling 'DICKS!!' just made my day
Decs* as in Detectives.
@DaveTheRave Thanks, and to be honest i never noticed a silly mistake like that until you pointed it out.
I admit, I am guilty of sloth myself, but after watching this scene, I suddenly feel the urge to get up off my butt because, I don't want what happened to him to happen to me!
I love how as soon as he says police, the door goes flying off its hinges lol.
Kevin Spacey would be attached to the bed now. Oh, how the tables have turned
JSD Spacey didn’t deal drugs.
I can help you out with number 1:
I know it's crap to have a back story to all this, but there was a Se7en comic.
In the Sloth chapter, Victor was a drug addict and John Doe offers him a sedated substance of some kind which weakens him. In other words, he gets high off his mind. Doe has the advantage to strap him down.
It's sad I know these things
This was the one I found most disturbing.
My God it's unbelievable se7en is already 20 yrs old ext year. It's crazy how fast time goes!!! When I saw you wrote "in the 1995 masterpiece Seven" I was sure you made a mistake, but you were right!
already 27 years old now
Better than Silence of The Lambs.
Clonetrooper1139 Nah, but still a good movie!
Agreed
Agreed
They r both masterpieces
FUN FACT: Howard Shore composed the music BOTH for Se7en and Silence Of The Lambs. Noticed the similarities in the musical motifs?
I saw this when I was much younger, at a school friend's house and it scared the crap out of all of us. It's only today that I can bear to watch it, and I just turned 29.
This was definitely the most cruellest punishment. Even worser than Lust.
I was so creeped out when I first saw this. Lol. Though this stayed in mind for a long time, I believe the prostitute death was the worst.
Blah, what am I talking about, All death's of the seven deadly sin's were fucked up!
But I think the lust death was the worst, because we didn't even see the corpse and I still felt sooo much disgust.
"Chad, you didn't find this barely alive human." "I find him on the bed, JUST LYING THERE."
Best OMFG moment!
Michael Reid Mackay, the sloth actor, did awesome here. I can only imagine how pleasant it was getting the makeup on him.
Starring Kevin Spacey as John Doe and and himself.
Oof
Victor scared the shit out of me but I feel sorry for him a little
starved him for a year and other stuff
@@dillathekilla3110 yea and other stuff
Fact: the bedsores was actually red jello (and if you look closely at victor’s amputated arm, you can see the actors real arm).
Welp.
This scene was bound to spark the torture/justice debate.
It's also the reason this movie was so goddamn brilliant.
That would be cool. Se7en is one of those movies where you can't get enough. I know the Se7en platinum DVD 2 disc set was supposed to have crime scene pictures and what not but I haven't been able to find the platinum DVD - not for a reasonable price anyway. Some one should post the pictures on the net through youtube or something.
You got what you deserved.... COUGH! COUGH! Best WTMF moment in 1995 films.
This scene is an expert example of craftsmanship that goes into making this scene tense and frightening.
The build up from going from one stage of the building to another (the stairs - the hallway - the apartment - the many rooms - the bed) and the curious use of air fresheners (I never plan to have one in my car after seeing this).
I'm a film student and I met Richard Dyer (who published the BFI book of Seven) and we both agree that it is a scene that demonstrates meticulous filmmaking.
"you got what you deserved"? -WHAT!?!?!
He got of light on an attempted rape and the cops really hated him for it. Hence, he got what he deserved to them.
Sloth victim is a child molester
SAW before SAW. This movie scared the hell out of me when I was a young teen.
Is it even possible for someone to survive that shit?
yes
no lol
Idk wtf Jack is thinking but people have survived being burned alive.. literally eyes burned out and are still alive. The human body can survive ALOT, sometimes unfortunate to survive such punishment.
SUNIKI GAMING I guess you're right. It's pretty incredible what the human body can do
Yes, Doe took many precautions to make sure the guy survives (barely) like pumping him full of antibiotics, giving him an IV and changing beds (assumed based on the fact that the bed was not that soiled from the waste his body would've produced)
All of that plus human body's resilience and you can survive quite a bit before dying...
The police captain stated that the sloth guy already had current mental health issues. Combine that with the horrifying psychological experience with John Doe, and being doped up regularly. He probably lost his mind very early on.
I don't understand how he rotted yet remained alive.
he "died" in that rotted state, he was so unkept from staying in that room that he looked like that, so he wasnt "dead" for that long
have a look at side affects of drug krokodil. Necrosis is when parts of the body die whilst the rest remains semi functional.
As long as your vital organs remain operational, you'll be fine. Bacteria just started to eat his muscle and skin tissue. He probably also had damage to his internal organs, but no enough to kill him.
Itudios2 That sounds plausible.
he wasnt rotting he just appeared sickly because of malnutrition and alot of infected bedsores
You wouldn't believe the jolt we all felt in the theatre when the guy coughed.
Wait a minute, does the box say "To The Wrath from me"?...Did this scene just give away the ending?

Can anyone tell me like the medical reason behind how his mouth is like that? Did he just lose so much weight and muscle mass that he doesn’t have lips or muscle around his mouth so his teeth kind of just jut out?
Wouldn't he get blood clots and die from being in the same position for so long?
if you think that's bad, check out sloth's third arm. (it was a movie mistake)
Get out, logic police.
Doe gave him medications for it. Watch the hole movie.
pretty sure the killer had him hooked onto an IV drip (you can see it when he wakes up) which meant he could feed him and keep him hydrated for as long as he wanted to
Sleep is too mainstream anyways..
Holy shit I just realized why this scene is so brilliant: the fear of the unknown. While movie scenes and gore can be scary and terrify us, there will always be one thing that will trump the scene: your imagination. Your brain can come up with fucked up shit that can’t be shown to you on a screen. Here, he was tied to a bed for a YEAR, and we have to imagine how horrifying it was

Well, Im close to saying NO ONE in the world deserves this shit and I think I wouldnt ever change that opinion. The person would have to do something really horrible to my closest family to say otherwise and still Im not sure that I would really mean it. Seriously, is there any more fucked up way to die???
I definately agree! Even if someone did something absolutely terrible to my family or my closest friends, I might want them to die, but never like this!!

Yeah, its nice to see that someone agrees with me when there is so much people who are wishing this kind of death upon somebody else, that might be precisely the reason why the world is as it is now.
But well, its Christmas, maybe I shouldnt bring this kind of stuff at this time of the year haha.
JelinekFS haha yeah the time of year could have some improvement ;) But I agree noone should die like this!
its only a movie calm down
James24447 calm down? From what? We were just saying that it's a horrible way to kill someone...
This scene freaks me out every time, the suspense is IMMENSE!!
I like to examine things and try to spot what I perceive as flaws or shortcomings. It helps me learn about things and bolsters my confidence because if a major movie makes some mistake or just could have been better on some part, I then think to myself, hey, I can do that. I thought the movie was okay but I wanted that sloth scene to really scare me but maybe I was expecting it cuz I watched the trailer first. dang it.
1:15 - He's clearly saying "They love this shit." but they ADR'd him to say "They love this."
I don't know why but it makes it unsettling to me.
I know it's just a movie but I feel bad for sloth :(
Spencer Vinje haha xD
+Spencer Vinje
Don't. Apparently he was a child molester among other crimes. He was probably the worst offender of all the victims.
Yeah but still, no-one deserves that.
Yeah, it is. They should of blocked off the empty spaces for filming. This was an empty office building in Downtown L.A. that they used for filming this particular scene in the movie. Notice the big old florescent lights in his apartment? LOL. The building has since been fully restored to condominiums.
I must be the only one that dosen't think this scene is to bad.
I think it's not to bad too
Is there actually a bad scene in this movie ?
First time I saw it I saw it in my nightmares, but it's not as bad as the second or third viewing. The concept itself is always horrifying though.
in case you didn't notice the guy ate his own hand off because he was starving and later stated he ate his own tongue
I just came here after this scene was featured on a Looper list of, "Scary scenes you won't watch twice."
Highly disappointing.
Right, so we can all just go on just painting the world as we see it and biasing everything, which leads to perpetual disagreements, instead of moving forward and hopefully becoming more enlightened. Stalemates are never the answer.
Well, it could work but when I saw him move way early... it just ruined the shock value for me. What they did GOOD was to put him 3rd in the sequence because 2 b4 him were dead and that leads the viewer to assume HE was dead too which SHOULD make the coughing bit more scary. hehehe anyway, maybe I shouldn't have watched the trailer first either. HEHEHHE
hard to believe this film is 27 years old time flies
This is to date the only film that made me literally jump out of my seat in the theater, and it was this scene specifically.
It looked like his teeth were falling out when he woke up.
this scene really stuck in my head!
