Amazing video! I am feeling so relaxed now after watching this vid! I'm starting in September and all summer I've been anxious about doing some extra reading prior to starting. Amazing content on this channel too for 1st Years!
This is so good to hear! I’m so pleased it’s helped you. Any other content that you think would help?
@@JamesArmstrongPhysio I’d love to know how you should structure revision. When revising anatomy and physiology, what is the best way to maximise time?
Concider it done. Check out Andie Cann’s videos as well. They’re awesome!
First time on this channel, very interesting and informative.cheers.

Amazing 🤩 So excited for you
How is the course going ? I’m starting in January.
Thank you! I start in September
Amazing! So exciting 😃
Starting in September at Huddersfield. Thankyou for doing this video 👍
Amazing 🤩
Wishing you all the best! Anything else you think would be good for me to cover in a video?
@@JamesArmstrongPhysio just wondered when you are on respiratory placement. Can you ask to get on call experience. Would your educator support this ? Thanks again
Absolutely! It’s a great thing to ask to do. I did it on my resp placement. You can also ask to do a weekend as well.
Thankyou so much. Your channel is so helpful and appreciate you taking your time to answer
Hi, how was ur experience studying physiotherapy in Huddersfield uni?
Superb
Thank you. Hope it was useful 😊
I'm about to start my Physio MSc in January, but I still haven't fully decided exactly what discipline I'm going to head into, stuck between sports and pediatric. At what sort of stage did you come to the decision of your final specialization?
I still haven’t. I’m 18 months qualified and don’t know for sure. At one point it worried me that I didn’t have a clear path but now Im enjoying doing my rotations and gaining tonnes of experience that will all be integral by the time I find my specialism.
Go with your gut
Hi, thanks for the videos! Did you see maths during the career? Like it was required to do third Newtons Law, I don’t know like maths exercises as well as part of the exams? I'm just very scared if I need exams related to maths :( thank youu
Don’t worry! No maths related subject matter in the exams that I ever took :)
@@JamesArmstrongPhysio Would you say that most of the modules (cardio, neuro...) are about just to learn muscles, joints? But no related to any calculations?
@@mariangelbriceno4944 there more to it than learning muscles and joints as you get to learn pathology and how the body works plus how to treat people. There really is no maths 😊
You’ll be absolutely fine. It’s a great degree!
I was a little worried about this too as there was a big emphasis on maths GCSE needed to get into uni. As a mature student, much of the maths I did at school is getting on for 20 years ago 😂
Thank you for this video, it very helpful.
Can I study physiotherapy in master degree after bsc anatomy
Do we need to be in shape or can we get in shape during the program?
In what context are you referring to?
@@JamesArmstrongPhysio Interms of being physically in shape...
Hello sir plz guide for UK , I am not getting any guidance from anywhere. I have completed my masters in India, i want to get into jon in UK
Hi I’m afraid it’s not something I have any knowledge on. The best thing to do is to contact the NHS trust you wish to work at.
@@JamesArmstrongPhysio Hello sir I hope you are doing well , I have done master of physiotherapy in neurology from india , I have no clinical experience and I am willing to be physio in UK,
And I have two options either enroll in msc course in uk university then after that go for HCPC and NHS interview it will be easier or I have to start HCPC registration process, plz suggest which one is better way to get job in UK
I’m afraid this isn’t something I have experience of so I can offer any advice.
I'm from London and was thinking of going next year and applying for kings, Brunel or East London can I ask any good uni's that you would suggest for Physio in London or in the south like Brighton or Southampton?
The ones you’ve mention are great.
St Mary’s is another good one.
Key is to look at what then do who they have as lecturers and does that tie in with your interests. Also and very importantly where in London do you want to study.
At the end of the day you’ll come out with the same degree.
Also make sure you go on open days to see them all and find the one you like the feel of the most.
@@JamesArmstrongPhysio In London anywhere near the center would be cool also a campus like Brunel is nice even though it's further out. I would like to work in sport physio and was thinking of doing a masters afterwards. I'd like to work with injuries involved in sport and doing physical activities and trying to help people recover from them. Not sure which Uni would offer me the best bsc for this as I don't know much about the lecturers are their careers in physiotherapy. if you have any suggestions that would be great!
For sports I’d definitely look at St Mary’s. Further out but very sports driven
@@JamesArmstrongPhysio Thanks James I will defintiley look into it! Thanks for the advice!
@@JamesArmstrongPhysio I was wondering in the future and for a career as physio is it helpful having knowledge and doing courses with further study in sports science and health also? Can that put you in a better space also integrating it with physio?
Go holiday where bro were not alowed to leave the country.
You can now 👍 Hopefully it stays this way. All the best.
Waffle
I tuned out after 4 mins having just heard waffle. Too bad.
You tuned in for 3 minutes more than most so thanks for watching 😊
