- This is one of my favorite songs since I was young. It was written by Mike Settle and Kenny Rogers had a big hit with it in the late 60’s. Me and a few of my band members did this very quickly in my studio years ago. I thought it would be a nice tribute to Kenny. Rest in peace Gambler.

I was Kenny's neighbor right outside of Athens Georgia here beside his Arabian Horse farm. He was a very good and hilarious guy to just shoot the shit with. He was my friend and neighbor. GOD BLESS YOU KENNY!!!. R.I.P.

Kidrock is an amazing and talented song writer and artist and that man can play an musical instrument that you put in front of him. I saw him do it at a couple of his concerts and if you are ever lucky enough to see Kid in concert he's the best and you never want his concerts to end. I'm looking forward to seeing him again one day as soon as this covid epidemic ever ends my goodness it's messed up so many things and so many people's lives.

@@Callie0715 thanks for the comment we appreciate it alot, we where very famous in the 60s and 70s and toured in the US with great success, one of the Best concerts I remember was headlining with tower of power in if i remember correctly the San Antonio hemisphere, we where one of the first mexican rock bands to tour in the US. A lot of friends and band member have past away but Will always be remembered with the music they created

I’m 68, married and live in MN and have written 2 fan letters in my lifetime: to Kid Rock, and before that to James Brown, when he was in prison for domestic battery. Well, needless to say, never heard from either, and both were the actual address where they were staying at. Took me a while to research James’s number that they give each prisoner, whatever that is called. And to Kid? I found his address off the internet, and it was the house in TN. Yesterday I got a t-shirt in the mail that I ordered: Kid Rock holding a gun in each hand, arms crisscrossed. Can’t wait to wear it, as soon as it warms up around here. Anyway, my 40 y/o daughter and I have tickets for FGL and Kenny Chesney, for May 2nd. I think I got them in September. Well that show has been cancelled until further notice by Kenny. We are sooo disappointed. Kid Rock played a few of the casinos, some years back, in Minnesota, but something was always happening so I never have seen him live. I also treated myself to his CD, one I don’t have, mostly red background, with a big ol’ cigar in his mouth Haha! He’s so fun when he wants to be. Bet all of you are! Hugs and God bless.

Took my grandmother to see him about 20 years ago at pine knob. He started throwing out signed frisbees into the crowd and I was lucky to jump into the air and grab it. She cherishes it till this day and she just turned 90! Thanks Kid Rock!
