- Head kicks are not thrown as often as kicks to the body and leg in Muay Thai. One of the main reasons is that they are easier to see coming and leave the fighter more at risk of being countered if they are not successfully landed. Creating angles to set up hard to see head kicks then is a great skill to own in any striking based combat sport.
This clip is taken from his amazing new full length instructional volume “Muay Thai Fight IQ - The Counter Fighting System”, which is available for you to download or stream now.

I hope you can give us a way to reduce the movement of the legs
Hello, could you teach us some ways on how to break the Muay Thai long guard???
If you mean someone who is using his lead hand to cover your vision. Orthodox vs Orthodox hook the hand and proceed with a right hand. Punch the glove than the head or take the hand down and punch. Just some options. And thai high guard if you mean as a defense... Actually you have pretty much open body where you can kick from both sides. Or control the hand and knee the body.
As always my advice is control the hand and punish the opponent :) You are welcome
No he means long guard, where both hands are out front like the opponent is gone to trap your hands to your chest. For that, manage the storage, use the light jab, then push their arms as you step to the side. Outside the jab arm into the dead zone is better than pushing, or cutting the angle into the power side. That's just my 2 cents.
