Sunday was about family, and worship. A part of my life that will hold fast. Sista Ellis was a major part of the Hill, Jackson, Kirkland, Boykins, Pruitt life. Family in Christ!!!
Way back got saved at Greater Lincoln Park Temple at Pastor (he was Pastor then) Ellis' church in San Antonio, TX. He ended up not even preaching that Sunday; just the Holy Spirit. Wonderful person and great man of God. Al be it late, sorry to hear about Lady Ellis. She is singing with the angels with her big crown!
It seemed a few months ago I was listening to step back Saturdays on 1390 with Deandre Patterson and they were paying tribute to her because she had passed.
