Ooh looks fab. My Mum, brother, sister-in-law, niece & nephew stayed at the Grand Floridian last summer for a week and then a villa in Kissimmee for their second week and wished they’d just stayed at the GF as it was more relaxing. So glad they went when they did though as if it’d been planned for this year, they wouldn’t be going even if it is all open and it was not a cheap trip! I was gutted to not be able to go with them but my brother and I work together and one of us needed to be back here. Loved seeing pics of the kids first Disney trip though - they loved it and still talk about it now and they’re nearly 6 & 3.5. Lovely memories for them. X

The Disneyland Hotel at DLP is based on the Grand Floridian, but obviously a lot smaller!! If you go to DLP stay at DLH!!

Narcoossee’s is an incredible restaurant! And all the water here in Florida tastes like toilet water! We go through tons of bottled water. Great vlog😁

I've not long discovered your vlogs. I love Florida it's my favourite place to go on holiday. I've had a stressful week and watching your vlogs just makes my day.x
We ate at the Victoria an Albert at the Grand Floridian years ago. Did a tasting menu with 7 courses and wine to match each course. We were a group of 4 but all the other tables were couples. The atmosphere was a bit staid and unlike a similar experience at a restaurant in Florence they were mean with the wine. The Italians just top your glass up when it’s empty. Would not go there again but your meal looked nice so might try this one next time
The Floridian reminds me of the Savoy in London. We had afternoon tea there and they also had a piano player. It was posh as well, but very nice. The Floridian looks huge and the view of the water is very nice.
It was a lovely hotel. Very expensive but as with most things in life, you get what you pay for and the quality is second to none
You guys are so funny. That last part at the restaurant and after was pure comedy. Glad you had a good meal. Makes a pricey meal sting a lot less when it's yummy.

We loved our stay at The Grand Floridian. The monorail bar crawl is a great evening and it's only a short walk to Trader Sams.
We have heard about the monorail bar crawl. I guess its just getting off at each stop where there is a bar ?

We just had drinks in California Grill Lounge ( Contemporary) , Mizners ( Grand Flo) and finished at Trader Sams. Some of those cocktails were lethal.
I just discovered your vlogs last week. I was in Florida 26 March til 10 April and you guys have really got me through the holiday blues, I’ve watched all the Florida vlogs from January aswell. I think use are so funny and down to earth. I especially loved the grand Floridian one cos it’s such a special place. I got married there 10 years ago and managed to stay the this year for one night with a dvc resale company so got it a bit cheaper cos it’s so expensive but worth every penny. I also stayed at All Star Sports for a week this time and would go and use the pool at grand Floridian. You guys are brilliant xx

It isn't America water that tastes/smells terrible; its Florida. Due to the low water table (only inches below the ground, not feet), there is a lot of sulfur in the water which is why it smells/tastes like farts. We always bring a Brita filter to our hotel to filter that all out - and we don't usually order tap water precisely because of that. Sometimes the water is filtered, like at Quick Serve locations, but fountains usually aren't and you can tell.

You should really think about DVC, or at least stay on property then you can get Dining Plan and not have to worry about cost of food.
Look into it.
Then next time you can watch the fireworks from California Grill at the top of the Contemporary Resort. You will LOVE it there too.
OMG When Nick opened the restaurant bill and said "Do we have a coupon" I nearly cracked up with laughter. Leigh was all gooey eyed, full of romance " Just can't put a price on tonight" and Nick says "I can put a bloody price on it, I have receipt in my pocket" ha ha ha BRILLIANT
I don't think I have ever seen Nick whinge more than in this vid. Chill Nick, chill man. We only live once, enjoy it.

You can rent points to stay at DVC resorts. However, you do not get the full benefits without being a DVC member yourself. Some folks will purchase at a cheaper DVC resort or buy less points and then supplement with rental points to get into the resorts they want to stay in.

Looks amazing .the monorail is the closest we'll get to thst hotel .were staying st port Orleans French quarter again in Sept. Next time you go get on boat from Disney springs .It's lovely based on New Orleans
Just jump off the monorail when it gets there and have a look around

Wonderworks is good if you can get a good deal on the price. It has gone up a lot in price since we last went ten years ago. We found a lot of things in Florida to be expensive now since we were last there but gotta pay it if we want to keep going (which we do :-) )

From the looks of that pork chop, I can see why it was pricey and delicious. Done right, a pork chop can be amazing. And I have to say, I like lobster more than you two, though I don’t get it very often. One thing about the tapwater is that it’s not the same everywhere you go. I’ve been places where the tapwater tasted just fine, and other places where it was almost undrinkable. So don’t judge all American tapwater by what you get in Florida.

You pay a premium at Disney but they do most things right. A lot of companies around the world could learn a lot from them (And do with the Disney Institute)

We never get fed up of eating lol. The diet hasnt exactly started but were definitely eating a lot less than e did in Florida and a lot more fruit
Next time you see someone who does not look ok, ask the server's... chances are they know the person, vulnerable people often look upsetting.... you should ask someone if they are ok, maybe offer to buy them breakfast?
