The sound of the game you played while waiting for glue to dry was the sound of a trip to the toilet. Also a productive use time spent waiting for glue.
For the price the Rockler table is a decent value. I also have one and beefed it up quite a bit before I put it together. The vises are my biggest complaint. One day I'll make my own bench but the material and hardware I would like come at a price I'm not the most comfortable with right now. Great video, cheers.
Thank you and I agree! I got it on sale so it was a good deal and it was good for the time. You are also right about the vises. Maybe I "outgrew" the bench also? Thank you!!
Im gonna try raising my bench to. I had my wrist reconstructed 10 years ago and it kils it to hand plane. It doesn't stop me from hand planing but it definitely hurts
I get you! I did the same thing and just accepted the pain but what my friend said really sank in. I need to take care of it now so I can woodwork longer. Raise the bench!!! Hahaha
As far as I know there's nothing wrong with me but if I plane enough I'm going to feel it. I have definitely overdone it with hand planing a few times. Hand planing is a physical activity. At least it is how I do it.
@@BatCaveCreations work is taxing on the body for sure. There's the right amount, too little and too much. When you go from too little to too much you're going to feel that. It can be real easy to breeze right past the right amount. Sore is one of those things that hits you later too.

I don't often wait for glue to dry but when I do, I go to the bathroom. *wise dos equis beer guy* hahaha
Really well done, man! It definitely looks much better! 😊
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thank you!!! It is alot better then it was before I'm glad I finally got around to it haha
You stay safe as well! Thank you!
I ended up raising my bench, but I used 3" casters. Now it's slightly too tall 😂. Maybe next summer I will have to revisit that. Good video
I did that with the first bench "real" bench I built. So I feel the pain hahah
Thank you!!!
Hey Jamie! You might want to update the title of this video to “Rockler”. Thanks for another great video!
Hahahahha that is halarious! Thank you for the catch!

The benchtop is really hollow, like shown at 0:44? From the pictures on the website I would have expected a ~3" thick solid top.
I thought it was too when I bought it but it's not its about 1" thick with a 3" skirt :(

Valid point!! Ir is taxing on the joints regardless of injuries!

Very very true!
