Those 'half-boundaries' can only be made on a point tier, so when you first make your TextGrid, make sure you clarify which of the tiers you want to be a point tier (i.e. a tier where you are annotating what happens at one point in time rather than during a range of time) OR if you add in a new tier to do that kind of annotation, make sure you're inserting a point tier.
Oh, true~ Sorry! You can simply click on the boundary you want to remove, and in the "Boundary" tab at the top, there is an option to remove that boundary. The hotkey on a Mac is option-delete (⌥⌫), but I'm not sure what the hotkey is for a PC.
Thanks for the super clear explanation!
Impressive presentation. But, I wonder if you show me how to do with initial and intervocalic stops both plain and labialized.
Can you help me. How to annotate stops, both plain and labialized?
how to do a half boundaries? I'm not getting to do that

did not actually go over how to delete boundaries, just how to move and create them :/
