Fire Drill @ EHS 1/29/18

Be careful with the volume.
I decided to do a video of the fire alarms going off. I gotta say, that thing sounds like it is getting sick. The system is mostly Simplex. I did do another fire drill video back in August of last year, but I wasn't inside when the alarms went off.
I don't know what model the smoke detectors or heat detectors are. There's five panels that control the entire system, but I only found one so far. I want to conduct a fire drill in school so I know how to use one if I join the fire company. I'll try to do a behind-the-scenes video if i do.
*Note*
If you want to play with fire alarms, I recommend wearing ear protection, like what I was doing in the video.

They're rated 75 to 85 decibels.

I wish I could film at my school. If i brought camera, it would either get stolen, broken, confiscated, or lost. I would also get in massive trouble for filming on school property.

I really do feel bad. I do have more fire alarm videos on the way. I do plan on filming the system going off the end of this month. Next month we're having a massive evacuation drill, so I don't know if I'll be able to film or not.

Thanks. Actually, not too long ago I took possession of one of these alarms. I don't have it right at the moment because my uncle is working on it. Hopefully I can have it back soon.

How long do you think this alarm will last before the need for an upgrade

I wrote that months ago. If they take care of the system, it should run for 5-10 years. I'm not an expert.

You mean 5 to 10 years from now or 5 to 10 years since installation
