Actually you can select Table, right click table properties, and click "Around Table". Then the cursor should go down.

How do you type below a table?

Just click below the table. If that doesn't work, then change the property of table to not allow itself to wrap text.
Even if that doesn't work, then just just the method in this video but put cursor in the last row. That will divide the table in two rows. Just delete the extra table and your cursor will be below the table.

You can try to move the cursor down by clicking "down arrow".
However, if it doesn't work, you can press Ctlr+shift+Enter in the last column. It will separate the last column which you can delete later. Now you cursor will be below the table.
