- *This short film takes place somewhere in between episodes 175 and 197 of Shippuden.*
The story takes place after the Pain saga, with Naruto becoming the acknowledged village hero he's always sought out to be. Seeing Naruto grow steps closer to his dream, Rock lee decides he, too, must continue to grow and push his training even harder. Feeling unfulfilled in his regimen, Lee decides to challenge Naruto to a no holds barred duel in hopes to reignite his passion to become the best ninja he can be. Naruto accepts the challenge from his close friend, and with this, the fight is set! Will Naruto's constant growth and Nine-Tailed Fox spirit overwhelm the hardworking, hand-to-hand fighter, or will Lee, again, push his body to the limits to become the more powerful opponent? This is still not only the best Naruto fan film, it's one of the best choreographed fight scenes ever done. Everything from the physicality to the cinematography is spectacular.

I was sitting in my room watching this and I had to stop and applaud on several occasions. One of the best fan-made videos I have ever seen. Spectacular.

the acting in this is phenomenal, even in 2019. Literally showcasing how sloppy naruto is and how technical rock lee is. It also shows naruto has a ton of heart, no matter how sloppy he is, he doesnt give up.
Also the fact how crafty he is. Everyone was always stronger then him, so he had to always adapt and find smart ways to beat his opponents. As seen in his fight with Neji.

Fan made stuff always seems to be wayyy better than high budget Hollywood stuff. I think the main reason is that the fans actually care about the source material.

Dude im getting chills watching this, i cant believe it was made in 2012, The way Lee fought after drinking the sake was totally different and it really shows how much the actors care about their part. This is amazing, I'm pretty sure they had a low budget and still made a better live action show than Netflix did.

At first... I thought this one just another parody vid. But after watching it, my mind blew away and it’s still blown away. You guys should more like this.
I absolutely love how at the beginning Rock Lee is contemplating and talking about his own training and how he is not as strong as Naruto though he used to outclass him as a kid. I wish the manga wouldve explored this. They practically pulled what DBZ did with all the Human characters and took all these badasses and through them in the background while the Main heroes shined. Incredible video though.

They give you a free shot to their stomach, somehow disappear and reappear behind you, then simply bear hug you from behind with legs crossed upon your waist. Battle of attrition they call it. While the guy who bear hugs you gets all cocky wavering his head like a mad man like he's earned himself a World War II Metal.

Jay N Jutsu is translated to technique. Thus a punch is a jutsu. Why the heck you think they call Lee's martial art tai-jutsu(translates as body technique). ninjutsu are ninja technique.

Watching him grow up all this years and finally achieve his dream, this made me remember why Naruto was one of the best anime I've ever watched (this does not include the fillers). Thanks Kishimoto-sensei for making my childhood awesome. I won't ever forget the things I've learned watching this amazing show.
