I would think that the setting would lack fantastical races because either A: they weren’t there when Barovia was cursed or B: Strahd, a monster, would not suffer his beloved to be reincarnated as a... Yuan-Ti or Warforged etc
In my campaign I actually had Strahd don his full armor, only so he could turn into mist and go after his lost bride undetected as the PCs battled the animated suit.
I love Chris and Curse of Strahd is still my favorite module and Ravenloft as a setting. But that talk about diversity... Diverse is the world, where you have East Europe, Arabia, India, the island nations of South East Asia, so many cool places to base your D&D adventures. But diversity is not making every place like Los Angeles, that is the contrary of diverse.
I could listen to Chris Perkins talk about lore for hours. Especially Barovian lore.
Me too
Any lore from Mr. Perkins is good lore. He worked his whole life to get into the position he is in. Respect to him.
This is my favourite show on the channel, listening to you guys talk about the history of the lore and how it developed.
Ravenloft.... (clicks heels together) There's no place like home!

We miss you Simon

Bruhhhh. I watched all of DCA and never once caught on to the Child's Play reference. That's just Simon!

Need lore, RavenloftTravelAgent is a great channel.
She is the Raven Maiden, even the Lady of The Loft.
Cool
I just know my players are going to watch this. They’re through the swamp and don’t know about the Ravens yet. Ha
I for one am stoked about a more Diverse Barovia.
