Solo travel had been a dream since I was 17, which recently came to materialize. I recently came back from a month long solo hitchhiking adventure to Japan. Now why I'm telling you all this is because you film-making has a big hand in inspiring me to set out for an otherwise inconceivable goal for an academically oriented girl belonging to a middle class family. Having gardening classes for kids would surely be great... the connect with soil will have a direct impact on the heart and mind. Seeing the plants grow and give back such selflessly will just excite young minds.
Back in Arunachal Pradesh. And every other Northeast state it's kind of mandatory to grow our own food. I mean we do it religiously. Every home will have a kitchen garden. And it was compulsory in my school to do gardening on weekends. We planted so many trees. My father always teaches me and tells me the benefits of it. Like we go rush in our garden.. pick some vegetable and cook it. How wonderful is that? It should be mandatory for all the city kids.. they dont know this feeling. Pure joy!!! Loved your vid Ronnie. I have genuinely loved this video. I think this message is needed for all the young generations out there so that they can look at the world in a different way. Just take out time to see the non-materialistic way of life. I personally belonging to North-east was eager to come to Delhi and live the life and now after 8-9 years my souls wants to go back. Live in the jungles, grow my own food, play in the waterfalls. Be with my tribe(friends) and enjoy life that way. This concrete jungle is just getting too much for me. I’m tired of looking for an escape from Delhi every 3-6 months. Just want to be back in North-east and teach my students how these little joys will be helpful. Thanks for the video. I so agree with you, Ronnie. Life up in the mountains is very simple. We recently trekked in the himalayas and crossed over from Uttarakhand to Himachal Pradesh. It was 8 day trek and everyday sprunged a surprise. Met pahadi people and was inspired by their simple and innocent lifestyle. City dwellers who are running after materialism can learn a thing or two from the pahadi people.

Love your videos on this channel. Helps me stay connected with Manali. Been there every year since 2011. Old Manali has expanded quite a lot as well. BTW, This looks like the area after manu temple and the new cafes that have sprung up in the last few years. Remember taking a hike in that area in 2012. There were so many orchards. Had some local chai at a wooden house in the midst of an orchard with a majestic view of the mountains on the Vashist side. Cheers for bringing the happy memories!

I was in Manali in 1967 and walkd beyond rohtang wnt up to shishu. Those were the days there was no road gref has just started digging for road I met a person who was from kanpur. last I was in manali 2003 what a change definitely not for good. I hope people like you an help saving the town plz.
Those days manali was a small bazar completely unknown to the outside world. It became world famous only after hippies came during early seventies. It became popular with domestic tourists only after1989 when terrorism started In kashmir.
Little story: Went for a long journey this weekend, had no internet in the area. Came home tired , checked phone ,had notification of your vlog. Slept there and then , because wanted the brain to process this vlog first thing after the cutoff . Love you so much guys ♥️

Trust me Growing Plants is something every person should do in their life. It makes me really feel good. At first, I also grew plants casually when it all grew up it made me feel so good and feel worth about myself. A great way to be happy.

I am a pure vegeterian and i love vegetables. as she said the life is actually being happy in lil things thats so true. even the beauty of a small creature can make us happy.nature is so beautiful ,everything starting from different shapes and colors of leafs to butterflies.....and so on .people are so busy in life that they dont even watch the sky and its different colors changing while sunrise and sunset.
