Winter is finally here! The Atal Tunnel works like a magic portal that transports you to the winter wonderland that is Lahaul. This is our first time experiencing Lahaul in all it's icy glory - and we absolutely love it! Hiking in knee deep snow to the frozen Sissu Waterfalls, stopping for a quick coffee along the way, driving into the sunset as the world freezes over and the only way to make it through the night - spend it in a mud house! The same home we helped renovate back in April is now ready and open for visitors! It's called "Zomsa" which means 'a gathering' in Tibetan. If you wanna experience some sub zero living definitely make your way to Lahaul!

Lahaul - a winter wonderland... probably deserves more credit than it usually gets.
In a way, it should not get more attention otherwise those Insta pose travellers will flood this amazing wonderland.

I went to Lahaul in summers of 2018 and it was as beautuful as people claimed it to be.I have not seen a more beautiful place than Lahaul in my life.Though I went there by crossing the mighty Rohtang pass it is my desire to go there by one of our nation's greatest engineering marvel Atal tunnel and enjoy the surreal and bewithching beauty of Lahaul valley.Thanks Ronnie and Barty to show us the glimpse of what Lahaul has to offer for all and sundry during winters and the amiable nature of Lahaulis. After your renovating Zomsa vlog earlier in April, this is I guess the first time we saw Zomsa and it is surreal. It shows the hard work of all the people associated with it. The mud house with such heavenly views and with such kind people is rare in this world (just like your vlogs ❤ ).
