The girls expressed that they wanted to be in tv, become stars, and also enjoyed being together with their friends. On top of contracts that locked them, the girls liked coming to dance. These are also some of the reasons is why their moms also brought them back because they wanted their daughters to have a say on what they wanted. It had little to do with liking Abby. Both moms and kids did not like Abby but it was the sacrifice they took to secure bright futures.
