After I translated Maestro Militello book from Italian into English: Domenico Zipoli Un sogno musicale di un Paradiso In Terra. I came to love his Music and in its simplicity to see the true expression of a man of humility and great faith.
Such clarity and accuracy. A sublime piece of choral music.Reminds me so much of Thomas Tallis and the madrigals. The descant ( or was it sopranino ? ) recorder added that special ' lift ' Soloists and orchestra first rate. I couldn't help notice the brilliant execution forte to pianissimo. Bravo !
Ave, Maris Stella, Dei mater alma, Atque semper Virgo, Felix caeli porta. Sumens illud Ave, Gabrielis ore, Funda nos in pace Mutans Evae nomen. Solve vincla reis, Profer lumen caecis, Mala nostra pelle, Bona cuncta posce. Monstra te esse Matrem, Sumat per te preces, Qui pro nobis natus Tulit esse tuus. Virgo singularis, Inter omnes mitis, Nos, culpis solutos, Mites fac et castos. Vitam praesta puram, Iter para tutum: Ut, videntes Jesum, Semper collaetemur. Sit laus Deo Patri, Summo Christo decus Spiritui Sancto, Tribus honor unus.
Beautiful piece, i have the manuscript of this piece. I don´t hear the "Tromba" in the Chorus, in the original version the organic have the "Tromba Marina".
Charmante soprane ! Merci pour cet Ave Maria !

It's a pity we cannot hear it here. You can hear it in the recording by Ex Cathedra with J. Skidmore (album Moon, sun & all things)
Wonderful! Could anybody tell me where to find the score for this piece?
Que bien
Also I would like to inquire after the performers! Who are they?
