You hear this right before you are made redundant. If Openai have taught us anything, if the opportunity presents itself, someone will take advantage of to the fullest. If Cisco do not create a Network Engineer replacing AI, someone else will. Eventually you will be left with no choice.
it's all very well saying it will augment humans, but that's just now because of the stage of development, so it's easy to say. Surely it will lead to transformational tech (maybe not by Cisco) that will fundamentally revise the roles of today. The "network engineer" is now a "aws guy" or "cybersecurity guy", but AI type advances will bring the expertise closer to those who use it. The future surely has to be one where the networks guy isn't really needed much anymore because that's the expertise that currently ops depends on, which will be replaced or migrated into another higher level function. That's just progress.
Insightful snack 🤩 AI is going to augment the human decisions, not to replace the workforce.

She thinks AI is side kick. It is kicking ass.
AI means you gonna lose your job!
