A Total Solar Eclipse can happen during a New Moon. The Moon comes between the Sun and the Earth, and casts a shadow on the Earth. If you’re standing in the Moon’s shadow, you’ll see the Moon completely block out the Sun. If you’re outside the Moon’s shadow, you’ll see a partial eclipse.
The stages of a Total Solar Eclipse are
    1 - Partial Eclipse
    2 - Baily’s Beads
    3 - Diamond Ring
    4 - Totality
During Totality, you’ll get to see the Sun’s Corona. That’s the Sun’s outer atmosphere. It’s always there, but the Sun is so bright we can’t see it. We only get the chance to see it during a Total Solar Eclipse.
    ★★★VERY IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE★★★
If you have a chance to watch a Total Solar Eclipse, you MUST wear Eclipse Glasses or you will permanently damage your eyes.
Many fake eclipse glasses have been sold on Amazon.com
