Thank you for inviting us into your home. Love to see how you enjoy cooking and absolutely love that you clean as you go. Video was warm and inviting and can’t wait to see your Christmas decorations 🤗🥰❤️
Thank you so much for sharing. How wonderful you can cook in the kitchen. Outstanding job Jason everyone should be proud of you and your daughter looks amazing.❤
Turkey a little dry, no worries that's what gravy is for. 😉 The most important thing is spending time with family and friends. It all looked delicious and I love how Blair helped you cook , so sweet. 💞 By the way, you made my favorite chip dip! Just give me that dip and a bag of chips and I'm a happy girl. 😅
I brine my turkey for 24 jours. I basically do everything the same as you but I add stuff my turkey with an orange too.. I also sprinkle paprika on top. In the pan I add stock and sometimes am little cranberry juice. I also love smoked turkey. I am glad you had a wonderful thanksgiving. I make the same chip dip (Lipton soup) I add clams. Soo yummy.
That was honestly the first video I watched all the way through on this channel. I enjoyed every bit of it. Good turkeys, love the sides especially potatoes. It was an amazing video. Felt like I was a part of it.
I remember that Turkey hat! You wore it at Poto back in the day on Turkey Day. Great video! You are blessed with an incredible family $25. Miss you and your dinner looked fabulous!
I tried a hint that I had read somewhere. I cooked my turkey breast side down. Turned out really moist. All the seasoning goes thru the breast that way. Your turkey was a beautiful color. I bet it was real good. Wanta take a suggestion from an ole Cajun Lady? Oh well, I’m gonna give it to you anyway..lol! When using aluminum foil, always put the shinny side down especially when baking. This way the aluminum foil will conduct the heat and protect your food from having aluminum foil ( shiny side) pieces in your food! Love your kitchen and your pretty little girl helping you. Making memories! Awesome video!
Jason, I loved this video. It ranks as one of my top favorites! Blair is such a sweetheart. I actually cook my turkey the same way you do but I do add the rosemary and sage in with the butter. I take my bird out at 160 and we let it rest for 1.5 hours (19 pound bird..) and it was nice and juicy by letting the juices re-distribute. We always eat the skin and it NEVER makes it to the table! Everything looked very delicious. I'm a little jealous of your double ovens though.. lol. Thank you for sharing your Thanksgiving with us!
Hi Jason, Happy belated Thanksgiving to you and your family. I wanted to share with you how I do my turkey in the oven, Prepare how you like it, I put mine in the oven covered with foil (like a tent) in a large foil pan, I put in it the oven at 4am till about noon on 250 I take the foil off at noon turn the heat to 350 until golden brown about 45 minutes to an hour, when you take the meat out of the pan it will fall off the bone (literally) and the most juicy turkey ever. I don't stuff it with stuffing for this method. Your dinner looked amazing, I loved the sour cream recipe, I will give it a try for sure! Thank you Jason 😊😊
Hi Jason , it’s been a long time thank you so much for allowing us into your life… I Hope you and your family have an amazing holiday and a wonderful New Year’s with many blessings to come take care👊
Turkey Dinner, never had it like u cooking, looks YUM!! Thanx for sharing. I lived most my life in New Zealand or Rarotonga and have Roast Lamb or Pork Dinners. Will try this 1day
Happy belated Thanksgiving Jason. This was so so so awesome to see! Both birds look tasty, though I’m a deep fried guy. …also, thanks for setting MY Google home timers too. 😂
My recipe is exactly like yours for the turkey. Only difference..after the first 20 min...take the turkey out and place bacon on the breast and let it finish cooking. Received so many compliments on my turkey this year. Thx so much
cute hair Blair! I had mine done years ago in the Dominican Republic and the NEXT DAY my scalp was killing me! i begged my friend to take the braids out I thought they were just tight. turns out I got a sunburnt on my scalp the day before!!!!!! I dealt with it for another 2 days and told my friend Traci if she didn't take them out I will! Then she noticed my scalp was red and peeling!!!! Be careful about braids in the summer!!!
Hi Jason, love your channels but I gotta tell you if you roast a turkey, brine it first. it turns out amazing. And if you like try smoking it. Delicious and I dont care for turkey really. LOL thanks and happy Holidays.
Deep fried turkey is hard to beat. Brining is a must. Mr Multitalented is what you really are😆❤️ I Pray you will pay attention to the ingredients of the food you use. That butter scares me. I only use Amish rolled butter. Ghee is awesome. I found Lund that you can’t just depend on the word organic, it needs to say certified organic.
So impressed with your cooking skills, as well as Blair's! Looks like a wonderful day full of fond memories with family & friends. Just for clarification in case the viewers copy your recipes you used Parchment Paper to cook with not wax paper because that would have been a huge disaster...🤗😘
Great video! I also separate the breast skin but I stuff it with stuffing, then I wrap the entire turkey with bacon , makes the turkey so moist, then I use the bacon crumbled in with the vegetables and stuffing and gravy. It's the one day a year we eat that fattening lol, but the bacon over the whole turkey guarantees the turkey will not be dry at all. I will try the smashed potatoes you made, everything looked delicious and looks like you had a great time! Go Pack go!
That sounds like an incredible way to prepare the turkey! The combination with vegetables, stuffing, and gravy must be delicious! I'm glad you're inspired to try the mashed potatoes, they’re a great side dish. Thanks for watching. 😁
@JasonWasTHERE soooo one thing which is an must, I put it here so others can read, is Brussel sprouts in the slow cooker. 6 hours on low, 2 cans of your face golden mushroom soup, a bit of bacon and onions. The salt takes the bitterness out of the Brussel sprouts. Of course you need to end tail and peel the over layer of the sprout which takes a bit, but the rest is magic. People that don't like the sprouts, I don't tell them what they are and they love them.... anyhow an extra side for you for next time!
Nice...I just knew you would break out the horseradish in the sour cream and the dip😢....no skin with the turkey breast when carving? ...nice to see you in your environment.
ALWAYS! Shield the breast Jason 😂 Yet again another great, interesting and different look into an aspect of your life and long may it continue Bud 👍., PS Where's my Mr Hand Pay coin? 😂
Neither. Jason....(Illinois here , by American casino.)we cook our bird on the weber with charcoal indirect. no basting needed , just a drip pan and a rack. This year it was just the 2 of us so we grilled a duck instead.
Redmond salt is the best. You should check out Off grid with Doug & Stacy & also Barbara O’Neill. They have a plethora of information concerning the food.
Your turkey would have been better if you would have put it in a bigger pan with a lid. And then baste it every so often while cooking it. and they take the lid off an hour and a half before done to brown it up. Ps. dry turkey is great with butter and or gravy over it! 🦃🦃🦃
Your🦃looked good. I always cook mine breast side down. Makes the breast moist. U have a beautiful kitchen Jason. Thanks for all u do. Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful WinsDay. ❤️🍀🥰🍀❤️
Jason my man, the key is brining that bird for 24 hours. She’ll come out juicy and flavorful every single time.
Awesome video Jason. Thanks for inviting us to your home.
Any time!😁
Jason, you and Blair make a great team…She’s absolutely adorable! 😊You are the best dad!

Great job! Very nice video Jason. 🎉

I love watching the many talents of Jason. Entertainment at its finest. Eat with your eyes 1st, then enjoy the company.

Both those Turkeys look great. Have you ever tried spatchcock smoker turkey? it's the best I have had so far.
It seems like it would be so tough to beat a deep fried turkey!
Deep fried turkey is hard to beat. Brining is a must. Mr Multitalented is what you really are😆❤️

We wet brined ours for 24 hours for the first time this year and it was game changing. The most juicy turkey we've ever had.
Thanks for the tip! 👍
Hi Jason, love your kitchen ❤
Thanks so much!
Thank you for sharing your Thanksgiving. Clean as you go! Always buy Made in the USA! Celery tops are the most flavor. Never tried Deep Fried Turkey.
My pleasure. Thanks for watching.
“Save the neck for me Clark”
🤣
Next year, try to brine the turkey you said you like to do different things, just try it makes it juicy
My recipe is exactly like yours for the turkey. Only difference..after the first 20 min...take the turkey out and place bacon on the breast and let it finish cooking. Received so many compliments on my turkey this year. Thx so much
Thanks for sharing! I love trying new tips and tricks for a delicious turkey. 👍
Sour cream looks amazing. I will have to do that absolutely.❤
It’s great!
I want to thank you for editing out the part where I let the turkey rolled down the driveway

More cooking with Jason vids
Hi Jason, love your channels but I gotta tell you if you roast a turkey, brine it first. it turns out amazing. And if you like try smoking it. Delicious and I dont care for turkey really. LOL thanks and happy Holidays.
Lots of people saying to brine it! Will have to try sometime
@@JasonWasTHERE I'd love to see that episode. Good luck.

I always cook the Bird, breast side down. It really keeps the white meat really juicie❤
That's a great tip! I'll have to try that next time. Thanks.👍
Put one of uncle Tony's Miller lite in the turkey it will be moist lol😂
Umm…not a great idea. Lol
So impressed with your cooking skills, as well as Blair's! Looks like a wonderful day full of fond memories with family & friends. Just for clarification in case the viewers copy your recipes you used Parchment Paper to cook with not wax paper because that would have been a huge disaster...🤗😘
Haha. Appreciate the clarification.
Roasted and tons of gravy from the drippings!"
😋
I hope you enjoyed your day
It was a great day with family and friends!
Maybe a spatzcoch might be an option for that ginormous bird?
I’ve heard that works well

I normally would, but it was detached already when I put the butter on the meat!

Appreciate it!😁
Very impressive! Brian can’t even boil water.
That's too funny! 😂
You make a turkey the same way I do
I don’t put apples inside. I saved the apples, chopped them up with chestnuts, roasted with sausage, onions, carrots, garlic, and chicken stock.
Redmond salt is the best. You should check out Off grid with Doug & Stacy & also Barbara O’Neill. They have a plethora of information concerning the food.
Thanks for the suggestion.👍
You are such an interesting guy with a lot of layers to your talents. Well done, Jason
Haahahaha, Just you wait!
gross!!!!!! i hate cooking birds!!! i did it once a very long time ago!!!! mine had hair on it too! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEW!!!! LOL. Jason the chefaroni!
Haha, that's one way to look at it!
Mr. Martha Stewart ❤️😍😘

The only thing different I do is I brine my turkey overnight
lol I think you need a bigger roasting pan
Just maybe....😅😆
I’ve always cooked turkey at 325. I think 350 could be why it’s dry.
Thanks for the tip. Maybe.👍
Buys garlic but doesn't have enuff time for that and gets the jar...
I used it in the turkey! Didn't you see that?
@@JasonWasTHERE I was skipping a bit through it to see more about the fried Turkey.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍
Thanks.

Get a Butterball. Never Dry.
Although I like my organic turkey, I may keep that in mind for next year!
It’s your show. I absolutely love it, but you could’ve kept the gravy in the big pot and made the gravy.
🤔 interesting
Go pack go
👍
