yet here we are at playtest #4 and i see hundreds of players trying to play like JayGriffyuhs wizard. Not sure if the first guy was just trolling but anyone that has been following this game knows Jay has started a lot of the trends. watching your wizard and rogue gameplay is always a treat keep killing it bro!

Jay is quite literally the wiz god, but to say that others are copying him just because they play aggressive and W key is wrong, most if not all the top wizards play like this, and I know even he would disagree the Aggro wizard is a playstyle, a way of life, not a trend. I found jay after I played playtest 2 like this. and we fkn love watching him shred

I have a question.
Do Fireball Skill have two dmg ?
Let me explain shortly.
Direct Hit = DMG A
Splash AoE = DMG B
So if i hit enemy on torse, do they get DMG A+B , and if i throw ball to the feet (ground) they get DMG B ?

I love your gameplay, it's insane, but I have a question : Why do you Ignite your spellbook ? Does it gives you +5 damage on your spells ?
It did in the earlier playtests, so probably still does, however I think it should be changed

how do you use the lightning chain on the ground and it hits the targets? does it chain from the ground to near by targets or do you aim at dead bodies? also at 2:55 you're shooting at the floor and my idea is that it chains from the blood on the ground if y'all know the anwesr lemme know
you can make the lightning chain go through bodies no matter what they are, monsters or players
If there are dead bodies on the ground you can chain lightning them, they will still bounce the lightning around so you have to be careful if you are next to body cause it might circle back to you.

Some nice wizard content. All the other stuff is just ignite wizards flexing. It's just not as entertaining as this stuff! What's the main differences between the wizard weapons, the crystal ball, the book and the staff?
Lol 😆 go compare them in game, they all have stats listed
the staff is bad you shouldn't use it, it's way too slow, the book is the best for sending spells and the ball is best used with a dagger

Honestly the ball kinda sucks if you use it with a dagger because it has -25 movement speed and dagger has -10. If you want to go ignite use spellbook and crystal sword/quarterstaff.
Cant wait until they remove casting while moving. such a sub80IQ class.
Yeah that'll never happen
they wont, but my 1 hope is to remove jump cancelling things. If you jump and then start casting you dont get slowed untill you land. which on one hand is VERY fun to do and feels outright mandatory on low gear wizard due to slow cast speed, but it starts being very abusable. I do this with potions, swapping weapons, pulling out arrows, etc and while fun it also feels kind of unbalanced

I like that cleric gets 4-10 reactive spells and wizard gets literally 72739472728485 damaging spells per run.

there were so many instances where the enemy melee could not have done anything about it, except not fight the wiz, which is just delaying the problem lol

First off I gotta say this guy is damn good. No one in the video he fought against had any skill or gear at though. Would be cool to see some fights with good players maybe some losses too. You are definitely cracked at wiz for sure though.
you realize some of those kills were on high roller maps? stick around and watch some more vids. You'll see he takes out a number of globally famous gamers and their crews 1 v 3 +

I agree. Or the invis needs to work like rogue stealth. You shouldn't be able to run at full speed while invis. I think invis literally increases movement speed as well? Nonetheless it's pretty amazing watching this guy, since I played all of play test 3 and 4 and my team was very geared in the end, and we never encountered a wizard who gave us any trouble.. so clearly this guy is way better than most.
the sheer fact that at 0:56 chain lightning can chain to the enemy from hitting the ground near him is so dumb. just another thing that needs to be nerfed on wizard. the reason people said the fireball splash needed to be nerfed is that getting a splash damage hit takes 0 skill (people would just aim at the ground where they stood for guaranteed damage). imagine if an archer could just hit near a target for it to deal damage. it would completely break all game balance. imagine a melee weapon just dealing headshot damage if you were close to hitting the head instead of actually hitting it. I get it might seem like a lot of hate for wizards, but in reality i think wizards should be strong, they should also take skill to land their damage. Since every other class in the game has to actually land a hit to deal any form of damage, meanwhile wizards have been able to get away with only hitting near the target.
He used chain lighting on a corpse, it chains through corpes. I think this should be changed though its probably a bug
