In 1999 NIGO recorded one of his best songs ever with Tycoon Tosh providing the verses. The song "Kung Fu Fightin'" perfectly encapsulates NIGO's late 90s obsession with the city of Hong Kong, also coinciding with the opening of the Bape store in the metropolis.
To accompany the song, off his Ape Sounds studio album, NIGO enlisted Eric Kot to shoot a special film. It was released on VHS and consists of three parts. Later in 2006, it was also included as a bonus DVD with the NI-GOLDEN-HITS album.
    Part 1: Kung Fu Fighters
The first half of the film shows a few martial artists flexing their skills in a garden. They are soon joined by a person in an ape costume with Kung Fu gear, who is later hinted at being NIGO himself. Although we never get real confirmation wether it's really him inside the costume or not.
    Part 2: Behind The Fight
The second half of the film starts off with behind the scenes of the action in the garden and in the city of Hong Kong afterwards. Here we also see NIGO for the first time, as he roams the back alleys of Hong Kong.
    Part 3: The Real Fight
The final ~6 minutes of the film serve as the music video for the song Kung Fu Fightin' depicting a showdown of the ape martial artist and some street thugs, interspersed with footage of NIGO.
All credits and rights belong to A Bathing Ape, Ape Sounds, Mo'Wax Records, Toys Factory.
