Everyone started fearing msg but after years of research, scientists found no bad health effects besides the same ones you get from over consuming salt. I’m fine now and enjoy food with MSG without worrying about anything.

MSG is UMAMI. Salt magnifies flavor, where MSG ADDS flavor (savory/UMAMI). It is not bad for you at all, in fact if you use MSG you'll consume much less salt because in order to flavor a dish with MSG you only need 1/2 or even 1/4 of the amount of salt you would normally use.
