Thank you, Carlos! I have been researching how to create videos of my scores for youtube and yours is my favorite. You clearly communicate and make it so approachable. I also like the creative tips you share, like your page turn effect and thumbnail. Thanks for your generosity in sharing. Congratulations on your success with your scores :-)

I graduated from college with a degree in music composition, I was wondering if you had any tips on how to connect with people and ensembles so I could start gathering real people playing my music rather than Sibelius (noteperformer 4 audio) thank you so much for the great ideas !

One suggestion would be to reconnect with directors of ensembles that were at your college. Performances come from the network that you already established, especially in college!

@@CarlosLalonde my college didn’t help me as much as I would have liked in that aspect since they focused heavily on the music education program rather than the 1-3 people going for composition. I have been able to perform a lot of my piece (due to the help of my college) but now that I am out I feel a little lost, do you have any videos that you have made that could help direct me to connecting with other ensembles?

depending on what area you live in, reach out to local ensembles! they're almost always willing to read through and/or perform new works. the issue is that they might not compensate you - but getting your foot in the door is the first step.

Any tips for making the score 16:9 so that it makes use of the full YT canvas? Your process seems straightforward.

I’ve taken screenshots of systems instead of full pages to make it seem fullscreen, check this one out: ruclips.net/video/-4Rajpwe9AY/видео.htmlsi=1ABBMymu8cA3qCoh
