    Another highly informative, very useful video from Urban Caffeine. The NYC Tourist/Travel Bureau should bring you on staff as a content provider. Thanks for all your excellent episodes-great narration with superb graphics.

    Buses are a much underrated form of transport. 14:20

    Good work as always. I would also include in the discussion how some of these forms of transportation change during inclement weather. For example for walking I also invest in a good pair of boots for walking in rain, snow, or slush.

    Thank you, Thea once again. I fully enjoyed this video along with all of your others. Your knowledge is stunning. You did leave out my personal favorite method of NYC transportation - the PATH TUBES. Undoubtedly you are including the Tubes in the category of subway. Great job, as always. George

    Great video, which I think will get a lot of views, as it's highly informative for visitors. Good to hear that you will be doing a Staten Island video in the future.

      Thank you very much! Yes, I think it's important to know the Staten Island Ferry. It's a great little hack to see the Statue of Liberty.

      Staten Island is often overlooked. The botanical gardens and Jacques Marchais Museum of Tibetan Art are great stops on Staten Island.

    Just came back from a 4 day nyc trip. Needless to say, we walked 6 miles a day, and my feet were not used to it. I'm still recovering lol

      Man, I just moved here recently, and I THOUGHT I was active before lol. But no, once you hit the NYC streets, your feet will never be the same. It’s a full time workout, 7 days a week!

      @@UrbanCaffeine definitely! If anyone else sees this, don’t believe the myths, most New Yorkers are happy to give directions or take some time to explain how to get where you’re going. So don’t ever feel shy or afraid to ask!

    Why are you so Manhattan centric ? And the subway goes very deep into Brooklyn, Bronx and Queens where the vast majority of New York City residents live. And the term " outer boroughs " is an insult to New Yorkers so why do you continue using it ? Manhattan as big as it is , is a small part of the entire City of New York.

    • @UrbanCaffeine
      @UrbanCaffeine  Год назад

      Hey there. This video was published well over a year ago. It was meant for tourist unfamiliar with public transit in New York that's why it's Manhattan centric. I didn't know that outer borough was insulting to some. I've talked to people born and raised in QNS and BK and they didn't think anything of it. Sorry if that offends you.

    • @wilmars9146
      @wilmars9146 Год назад

      @@UrbanCaffeineYes most New Yorkers detest that term. It's very Manhattan elitist.

    The transportation in London is a lot better

  • @rizwanali649
    @rizwanali649 2 года назад

    London is a century ahead of New York City.
    Living in London my whole 44 years of life. I have seen the investment that is put into the system.
    Billions are poured into the London underground by TFL Transport for London.
    But New York City, has been neglected for generations. The image of New York's train's is very tatty.
    New York city's mayor's and governors greed has led to the downfall of the city's transport system.
    When traveling in New York, it feels as if they are stuck in a time frame from the past.
    Very very sad
