@@Zug75 If you owned TM or Titlest why would you "pay big $" to a pro that has a track record of blaming his equipment for his bad play? They already have a stable of big name players who do not blame their equipment for bad their play. He is the only golf pro I can think of that has ever done this to their equipment sponsor. In a way I feel bad for him damaging his marketability to other MFG's. Yes he could easily get another sponsor but he will not get the same money after bashing Cobra and there would be clauses in his contract to penalize him severely if this behavior surfaces again. Those few words cost him a lot of money needlessly.
Trees are 90% air my arse 🤣. I crushed one into a branch with a 4 hybrid the other day and my mate said it shot straight up about 100 yards above the tree and then came straight back down about 10 yards in front of me 🤣😂
Awesome! Next time my ball is halfway in the woods and I can't play it ill just drop it towards the fairway until I have proper footing. New rule i learned today!
Why does Bryson take twice as long as anyone else to drop a ball ? I think what he brings to golf re: skill is genuinely good but sometimes his intelligence gets in the way when it comes to simple concepts. On another note , getting a tad tired of him giving up on a round,, this is probably the 3rd or 4th time ive noticed lately where he just seems to mail it in ,, I get it ,, hes upset ,, we all get upset ,, but being a pro means not giving up. He needs to get out of his own head sometimes.
Any player who is leading on a Sunday and ended up in this situation would have had to go through the exact same process and done the same thing. They just wouldn’t have gotten the hate because they aren’t Bryson.
He has the skill and distance to take his medicine, chip or punch out onto the fairway, hit a wedge or chip it close but no he has to go aggressive... even when leading and it backfires on him.
If only this course had NO WATER HOLES... if only the course had NO TREES... and if only the WIND didn't start gusting about.. well, probably, we'd have broken 80 in the last round this time....
No penalty. His ball after the 1st shot was ruled within bounds (but only just). His intended (and reasonable) 2nd stroke from that point, sideways onto the fairway, would have been potentially interfered with by the cart path, because his swing on follow through, and/or his stance would have have been partially on the path. A cart path is an immovable obstruction, i.e. an abnormal course condition from which free relief is available. The nearest point of free relief, where he would be within bounds, entirely clear of the obstruction, and no nearer the hole, was at a point inside the path which he marked with the first tee peg. From there he was allowed a one-club length drop zone, again no nearer the hole. He marked the limit of that with the second peg. He dropped twice within that zone but both times the ball rolled back onto the obstruction, so he was allowed to place the ball at the point of the second drop. (I think actually, although I can't hear the official's voice, that the ball would not stay still where he placed it, so he was allowed to place it at as close as possible to that point where it would stay still). Unfortunately for him, after that lucky reprieve he skied the 2nd shot into the tree. God works in wondrous ways.
If Bryson would slow his machine swing just a tad bit, and concentrate on hitting it straighter,...he would win alot more tournaments. I watched yesterday and tuned in when he had a 2 stroke lead. I drove 5 blocks to pick up an soda and right back home,....and he was 2 off the lead. That is a mental issue. He really needs a sports psychologist. After seeing him drop 4 strokes, I couldn't stop thinking of Brooks koepka rolling his eyes.
Alot of hate for Bryson but he is remaining the game. It won't happen overnight and will take years to perfect but he has a vision and is right on course to make history in the years to come.
@@baerschuman111 he's not hated for no reason. Have you not followed golf at all? Blaming his US Open performance on bad luck then saying his driver sucks then getting covid and not being able to play in the Olympics and afterwards saying he didn't regret not getting vaccinated because he's young and healthy...The dude has a major in science yet he apparently doesn't realize that the vaccine reduces the likelihood of getting infected and if infected it usually results in the immune system taking care of the infection quicker, so the person is less contagious to others and for a shorter time period. I mean this has all been recent too. It's amazing, he's just proving the haters are right about him. I don't really have a problem with him because I just don't really care that much about the PGA (but since basketball and football are in the off season, it's a boring time of year in sports). But anyway, yeah..obviously some people do hate him for no reason and many care too much and let annoyance turn to hate, but I mean there is a reason...
Bryson did his best whiny pants brat impression and melted down in spectacular fashion. The guy was leading starting the final round on Sunday. He would hit a bad shot and look at his club, trying to blame the club. I guess his putter design is wrong as well because he left putts short or simply missed.
Bryson should be fined for not yelling 4 when he hits a stray shot like this one. It's not that uncommon for him to get l hit something in the crowd and doesn't tell 4!!

that was a pretty massive launch angle
