    HyperMill definitely has the barrel cutters down pat. As long as you have good geometry for it. We are a medical shop and we have tried using barrel cutters on some parts like knee replacements but medical equipment models never have clean surfaces. Its just too organic

      Hi, you should reach out to Open Mind, they recently developed processes for machining with barrel cutters on medical parts such as knees and so on. There are also some big time savings possible, but requires some tricks while programming
