Damn! This is better than any TV series Netflix has to offer. Hyped!!
Mrs Jeff should have her own channel, where she drives around in the Porsche showing us cool parts of Australia.
Haha, you mean from the passenger seat :P
I just thought you were so busy, sure you can drive and you be her Cameraman as she shows us about the Australia we never get to see, I always hoped that I would find a way to visit. But thats just not going to be the case. Not talking about some tourist film, but a video from actual Aussies showing neat places up close.
It was just a thought.
Jeff, That's ingenious!! (The method of fixing those front wings). Who else would have thought of that!!
Thanks mate. I love a puzzle ;)
Looking forward to seeing what colour you paint the old girl. (Mine was an orange '73).
Jeff you're a genius
You are one smart smart man. Your ingenuity is amazing.
Also love the practical ingenuity and the can do attitude!
This channel has turned out to be my Friday treat, always something to look forward to during the week. keep up the great work, thanks. Greetings from way up north.
Don't you just love Mrs Jeff haha
Yep
You're a flaming genius Jeff!!
I love this channel, some of your ideas are genius! Great video
Excellent job in designing the jig to straighten the front end. When NASA finally builds the Enterprise and need a jack of all trades, you'll be the first they call.
Keep the great videos coming. You deserve a cold beer or two after this episode.
I would fear for the astronauts if I was working at NASA ;)
Anyone else having sound issues? Some parts of the video dont have any sound (even when jeff is visibly talking), i’ve checked and my sound systems are working fine
Very happy to see the Zed sitting in the booth. Every notification for one of your videos is a reminder for me that I need to get my lazy arse into the workshop :)
Yep, get out there :P
I have my 72 getting welded up at another shop, then it moves into mine, and the long haul begins.
Gotta be one of the best car channels on youtube.
Thanks mate. Glad you are enjoying it.
Nice work Jeff!!! Can’t wait for paint and panel!!!
Awesome progress Jeff, getting exciting now!
Ha ha, at 13:55 Mrs Jeff looks like she is going to be sick. Great vid. Maybe you should consider velcro for sealing you booth. Portable lamps come in handy for painting in paint booths. Have fun.
Well done! Very clever use of the jack!
I might have to steal your idea to fix the front of my Prelude. It met a deer in a previous life which has led to hood issues. I bet that bar and Jack method would work great.
That's fireman ingenuity right there. :) Seen that before in many situations. Well done!
Haha, thanks mate.
Nice work Jeff. Keep on having fun!!
Fibreglass filter is itchy blerrrhh! That was funny.....Nice spray booth and great work on the front of the Datsun, nice to see it all straight.
You got it Jeff, bent those front support panels up well done Mate!
home built by jeff. i dont know why more people dont watch you. show is really cool.
Thanks mate.
Love it! Wonder what colour itll be!
Nicely done getting the front end lined up!
cant wait for the paint!!
I was not sure your method would work, but that was brilliant, nice work!
Amazing work Jeff. You really inspire me to do the same.
Another great video! I am inspired to tackle my own oil change or maybe a new cabin air filter.
Haha, start small. That is the way to go.
Great Jeff...it's very usefull for me the spray booth....excellent idea. Thanks a lot.
Love getting those notifications!
really impressed with the diy squaring. cheers from iceland.
Thanks mate. I am glad it worked ;)
Thanks for another great video and for inspiration to give it a go!
Well done Arthur tussic would be proud of you
I love these videos, so informative and the presentation is fantastic, but I usually skip straight past the stuff where the guy's messing with his car though ;) JK, keep up the fantastic work Mr & Mrs Jeff! Subbed.
Thanks mate. Glad you enjoy it.
I found two scissor jacks work better, one at each end as this gives more control.
I don’t do Australian spiders!
You’re giving me inspiration to showcar my car
I’ve got 2 Eunos 800m
Ones a daily driver in ridiculously good condition
Then another that is an eyesore, planning on converting to a bit of a track car from the ground up
If you’re ever down in Yass come say g’day :P
Do it! The only issue with building a less common track car is finding spare parts, but go for it. It is all about having fun.
great episode as usual, good result with the 240 nose,,,paint booth up and ready yahoooo,,,and does any one else wonder what Mrs Jeff's name really is??
It is "Mrs Jeff" of course ;)
Hey mate, what’s happening with the Porsche?
I think he's waiting on the engine and other parts to arrive.
Cool. Thanks Mate. Anyway, both are epic builds!
I really enjoy your videos. Any idea on the paint scheme?
Yep ;)
Home Built By Jeff well, any hints?
Nope :D
Hey Jeff, i love the channel and really enjoy watching the car builds! i was wondering what color you were going to go with.... a few of my favorite colors on the 240Z are midnight blue similar to the car from Wangan Midnight, and perhaps a dakar yellow seen on E36 BMW M3 or even a British racing green. Keep up the good work and can't wait for the next video! Cheers from Philadelphia, PA USA
The colour will be announced later ;)
Can you give an update on the Porsche engine Jeff, so sad seeing it just sitting there 🙁
Nope :(
Can we get an update on the porsche engine?
Nope :(
Any word on the Porsche engine?
Hey Jeff could you send me the link to that website please? Great Video!!
What website? If you are referring to the spray booth videos, they are in the description.
Home Built By Jeff The place where you got the Dimensions of the Zed.
Someone sent me a link, but I can't seem to find the message again. It was a link to an old thread (around 2009 from memory) on www.viczcar.com/forum/
Thanks! I'll try and find it.
What colour? My 1976 260Z 2+2 was Lake Green. 😊
TBA
Just make sure you seal you connection at the ends of the LED strips !!
Absolutely!
you are a genius!!!!!
What colour are you painting the dato?
TBA
Cool, sounds good.
sound problème ?
Fun fact! Videos are more entertaining when the audio works fully. 😊
Copyright strike :(
Hey, a bunch of these videos are silent while the music is playing. RUclips cutting it out maybe?
Stupid copyright strike :(
@@HomeBuiltByJeff Sorry to hear that. It’s done it on a bunch of your 240z and VW stuff..
On the plus side, still teaching me a lot 😁👍
Hi Jeff, some of your music rights may have expired, alot of muted audio in this video now
Yes. Unfortunately Copright strikes :(
I would imagine setting up that spray booth in the summer is not much fun.
It was actually pretty cold the last couple of days, so it was not too bad.
You look a lot like morrissey mate!
Hahahaha
After you raised the panels, now the hood looks low on the front, so are you sure you are ready to paint.
The whole car needs body work. It is just sealing the bare metal in epoxy.
Your "hundred mile an hour tape", we called "instant airframe" in the Air Force.
That sounds super scary!!!! ;) Love it.
U have a beauty GF
