Absolutely Agree, I believe Najee is more valuable than Cam Heyward . Cam a 3-4 DE coming off major groin surgery at age 35. He is definitely being paid for his leadership and what he has done previous years. Najee has 2-3 good years in him. Let him lead our offense like Derrick Henry did years ago in Tennessee. Arthur Smith can use him similarly . Right now the only two skill positions our opponents have to fear are Najee and Pickens.

najee ran for 1000+ yards three seasons in a row with a mid o line. PAY THIS MAN

60 yards per game over 17 games is not as impressive as you make it out to be. 5 years ago under a 16 game schedule Najee doesn't hit 1k yards the last 2 seasons without a 17th game. Any nfl RB given 250 carries can crack 1k yards.

Najee has produced behind a subpar line for three years. It appears with the new OC, free agent picks, and the draft picks you want to run the ball. Warren and Najee splitting time keeps them fresh. Imagine the new offense, new players on the O line, and these 2 RBs have the potential to carry the Steelers to the Super Bowl.

I'm messing around lol, here's the thing next year we have luxury picks due to this year's draft getting what we needed, so 1st round we can go for a WR a RB whatever, the front office set up next year's draft for all luxury picks thas how I'm thinking, I mean what has those 1k yard seasons added up to missed playoffs or 1st round knockout in the postseason we need that dude that's gonna make teams respect the box that will open up the play action and deep ball, flee flickers opens up the play book and plays that can be added

Najee to Dallas should work out well for both teams. The Cowboys need a running back, and the Steelers can use the draft capital and additional cap space, for a premier WR. Eventually the Steelers will have to pay much more to a QB1 as well.

No way I would trade Najee for even a third. Played behind a trash O line with a trash OC and still puts up 1000+ yards every season. He’s not explosive but he’s a solid volume back and he’s reliable. You trippin’.

No that would throw away our best attribute on our offense which is that two punch running combination between Naj and Warren. If Warren becomes rb1 and Najee leaves then we risk Warren getting hurt.

If a 4th is as high as Dallas is willing to go, then how about a 4th and a 6th. I mean if Omar can find Logan Lee in the 6th, then who knows what he can dig up in next years draft. I think a 4th and a 6th is fair. We could trade Najee and sign another RB and then start Jaylen.

Najee is a former 1st rd pick who has put up numbers and is 26. His age, production and pedigree should bring a 2nd rd pick.
If i can't get that, i'm extending Harris. With the way our team is built, he is more valuable than a 3rd, EVEN with us not extending him in a 5th year.
We can find 3.9 ypc in the 4th round though 😆.
@jasonwood8023 Yeah, we did better than that with Warren. But you don't just trade former 1st rd picks in their prime away for a bag of chips, even if you plan on moving on from them, and the league knows it.
