  • A Rochester, Minn., community remembered American’s tallest after he died of heart disease at 38. Igor Vovkovinskiy’s growth was caused by an issue with his pituitary gland. One resident said it wasn’t always about Vovkovinskiy’s height, “He was a very caring individual.”

I had just watched the program from 2018, then saw this one. Is his Mom doing OK? She has to be devastated without him. He has no pain, a normal size and is wearing wings he earned just by his wonderful nature. Seeing his Mom say she had a heart attack when hearing about the tumor, now losing him, I so hope she has people around her. Please tell her I am sending prayers for her and of course her wonderful Son. I live in WA State, but my prayers are flying to her and anyone she calls family and friends. May God Bless her and you as well, for being her friend. Denise

I just saw the 60 Minutes from 3 years ago. I was crying the entire time. Then I looked him up only to find out he had passed away last month. When you're born like that you have 2 choices, be miserable or enjoy life because you're time on earth will be short when you're that large. Everyone should watch that 60 minutes and learn some gratitude and appreciation for the little things

A very needed young man. More could have been done for him in the way of health, (someone should have stepped in) medicine, (alternative medicines like herbs and natural healings could have been explored) groups like boy scouts or boy's and girls club of America more should have been done, education ( someone stepping in with computer and online classes) more could have been done.
