i heared this 11y ago i was a young musician and me and my friend at the time used to listen to this inhis basement while playing.. we were so inspired
I don’t know what style of music this is, but I love his technique. The repetition makes me feel like it’s improvisation and reminds me of my own playing, but this is on a whole different level. Yes I know this video is old as hell.
@@edtr8434 i mean hella and tera melos are basically just beta undo k from hot but yeah. also spencer seim, carson mcwhirter, rob crow, basically anyone zach hill has collabed with .
It's either the mic is picking up the van's harmonics (most likely), or it could be the way they mic'd this recording, one seems to be straight in front of the cab, the other mic (if so) could be elsewhere in the van where it could be clearly be picking up some of the harmonics the van produces with the percussive hits of the guitar. But it just sounds like that van is a fucking kick ass place to record imho, and his tone is unbelievable in this song.
8 years later, but... sounds a bit like the springs in the vibrato (fender calls is a tremolo), on the back of the guitar. sometimes theres an accidental small reverb that happens with the springs that can have a cool sound.
Chill out man. You're here and enjoying this guy make some fucking killer sounds on a guitar; it's all good. Show your friends if it bothers you. This guy deserves the attention.
This man seriously needs to be more well known, he's honestly one of the best guitarists I have ever heard and could ever imagine.

true pain is knowing potential like this will always be thrown under the rug
it doesnt have to be this way.. you can support him and show his music to others

f a s t Look into math rock m8. Especially Hella, he played bass with them and guitar is kind of similar
Try out the solo albums on his Bandcamp. Some of my favorite music.
Yes
I'm so glad this is unblocked in my school.
Dude, you really need an award. Insane measures.
I can't believe this only has three and a half thousand views
So, Sacramento is the capital town of Math-rock, right?
Yes, well, unique experimental math rock.

His latest release SNDLPVN has this track on it, as well as other sweet tunes, so go to his bandcamp and buy it!!!
it sounds sick cause it's picking up him shredding that guitar acoustic plus the sound of the amp, so it's nice and thick.

idk how Death Grips got me here, but I'm glad it did, this is beautiful
Perhaps it's because Zach has recorded with him. There are some pretty cool videos of them improvising on here and playing Zach's solo music.
i love you, Carson.
Where is he now ?
Imagine what would happen if he started tapping
He played a warr guitar (tap guitar like chapman stick) in his first band but became less inspired by tap centric music later on
Yeah!
