I have been trying to teach myself grass basket making through RUclips vidios and books. I know that grass is supposed to be 'aged' a year, but I don't really understand the process of curing vs drying. I only know that some of my grass ends up strong at the end of the year and sometimes it is brittle. Can you explain the differences between curing and drying?
Cute video but completely misleading title - it didn't explain actually curing grass or collecting it. It didn't even explain which type of grass is best, or what the literal steps are to cure it correctly. This video only vaguely talked about grass curing, not even including the basic steps of 'how to'. It's unfortunate, but I'll not dislike the video because the content is still enjoyable :)
Thank you. Just starting myself with zebra grass in Southern Indiana.
