Excellent lesson as always. Thank you.😊 Just one minor detail, it's a Gm6. Last year my hands were damaged so badly I could barely play 2 - 3 notes. They're getting better and I can now play melodies, licks, and even a couple classical violin solos (very badly). But simple open chords and barre chords I can barely play. For instance, an open G is only possible if my push my fingers into place. So Beatles tunes like this that I never learned help make that struggle more tolerable and fun. 🥰
Thanks Howard . I always thought this could have been a top ten single . Cool that you added George's licks in both octaves . I see you fixed the Chord name error on the Gm6 . If I could suggest a song to do in the future I request " I call your Name" would love to see how George plays that one. Thanks again Howard you do really cool lessons
they had so many great and different songs. i'm working on it, i got the chord fingering down but have to build up the speed. i'm just a long time hack, like about maybe intermediate. thnx for the help with this one, ya,ya,ya.
Howard, don't think that's a Gm9. Without the pinkie note it would be a Gm7. The pinkie then adds the 6th of the chord on the B string, which can be viewed also as a 13th. There's no 9th in that chord shape at all. So it's a minor 13th.
Great song choice. I remember singing along to this album way back when it was first released.
Showing why the Beatles were so fantastically original. Well done,

Yes, it was a brain fart... That's actually addressed in the description box below. The chord is actually a G Minor 13 - Thanks for watching.

:-) My brain misfired... but rather than redo the video, I mentioned it in the description box below. The chord is a G Minor 13
It’s simply a Gm6 ( barre) fret 3-5-5-3-5-3
The higher

Awesome, thanks! Question - who ACTUALLY wrote this?
Always credited to Paul. Melody has lots of his "fingerprints ".
