Well, I have a theory that PM wanted to show us how pathetic Ahab without her crew. Or she becomes that after some quick fix in __ hours after release just like some other fights of Canto 5

I'll be honest, I struggled against this boss for a long ass time before finally restarting the entire dungeon and working on piling up Sins. Once I got to her, I immediately popped Faust's Base Ego to give more sanity so I don't get hit with Ahab's sanity foolishness. (I don't have Fluid Sac Faust). After that, it was smooth sailing for me, clash against the appropriate skills, pop an Ego against the heavy hitting skills, and win.
The end of Canto 5 literally had me crying for an hour straight afterwards. I am a grown ass man and usually tell people to stop being so dramatic when they say stuff like that. Listening to Compass on its own afterwards stil made me cry. I feel like every Canto has me going "OMG NEW FAVORITE CHARACTER!"

Tbh as long as you have a good Faust ID and stacked up resources, you can just spam her base to combat DGOW(Delusional-Gaslighting-Old-Woman(My "nickname" for Ahab)) and her SP foolishness... If you have Fluid Sack or a support with Fluid Sack that just makes this fight an easy ride... (Ricardo and The Pequod Trio was way harder tbh...)
Of course, (1) actually read, and (2) You can also use the new Battle Pass Gregor EGO to combat DGOW's SP foolishness too, if you don't have Fluid Sack or just want extra safety. (Faust's EGOs are just straight up OP tho...)

Honestly, This fight was way easier than her fight with her crew, It took me 5-7 tries for her crew and 1 try for her EGO

i'm pretty sure that if a character is fixed in their own dungeon, it won't die unless everyone else is (+ ricardo flashbacks)

Just try to outdamage her. Or you can also use I.D.s with pierce resist.
