With all due respect, there is NEVER a reason to use the "Better Security" WPA2 TKIP/AES option in 2019. You said to support older devices but those older devices need to be in the trashcan, replaced with modern devices that support AES. Your network is vulnerable and anyone who takes your advice is made vulnerable by encouraging the use of older devices. Those device would have to be a decade or more old and have no place in today's world.

I'm all for new shiny computers and secure wifi gadgets. Unfortunately clients seem to have a different view of security when it costs them money....so there is that. Otherwise you nailed it!

small business access points from Cisco differ greatly from unifi. Cisco includes a managed interface with their access points. All unifi products require installing additional software on a PC/Server or use their management device in order to configure. if you are ok with installing additional software than unifi is fine. if you need to support multiple devices in various locations with different setups it might not be the best choice.

Sorry Nick, every single device made in the past 10+ years supports WPA2 AES. If someone is really using junk older than that they deserve to get broken into. Refuse to support old junk. I do & have never had a client complain when I explain to them the reason.
